* ''Series/ReadyOrNot'': Amanda babysits for a [[BourgeoisBohemian bohemian]] couple and invites Busy over. It is this couple's house where the two girls come across the "Guide to Sex" book.

* Not quite babysitting, per se, but two different arcs of ''ComicStrip/{{Garfield}}'' strips had Garfield and Odie being pet-sat while Jon was out on a date with Liz. The first time, they were pet-sat by the [[BlindMistake horribly nearsighted]] Lillian, and the second time had them under the care of the muscle-bound Greta.
* Periodically, Calvin from ''ComicStrip/CalvinAndHobbes'' would be babysat by Rosalyn, whom Calvin fears very greatly.
* ''ComicStrip/{{Foxtrot}}'': Several arcs saw Paige babysitting a young girl named Katie, usually to disastrous results.

* The third story of ''WebOriginal/{{Cubnet}}'', appropriately titled "The Obligatory Babysitting Story", has Brenda Bear babysitting the two children of Rachel Rabbit, one of the network executives at Cubnet (and more or less her boss) - at first, Brenda is displeased at how pampered Rachel's two kids are (for starters, Rachel ordered delivery from what was presumably a high-end restaurant for them in lieu of pizza[[note]]vegan filet mignon with carrot bisque for her son, vegan lobster thermidor with quinoa salad for her daughter, and chicken tenders and French fries, presumably off the kids' menu, for Brenda[[/note]], which she seems to consider "peasant food"), but once Brenda learns that Cubnet had quietly launched a nighttime block for their back catalog, she ends up getting Rachel's 5-year-old son Jack hooked on an old cartoon from TheEighties (and desiring the associated line of action figures despite them being collector's items about 35 years later).

* In the original ''Anime/SailorMoon'' series, an episode of the Makaiju arc focuses on Mamoru taking care of a baby whose mother was injured in a Droid attack and whose dad is abroads. Usagi and Ami see this and Usagi signs up to help Mamoru, hoping to get closer to him. HilarityEnsues until the Droid attacks again, which prompts Mercury's MidSeasonUpgrade.

* Several issues of ''ComicBook/TinyTitans'' were about one or more of the Titans babysitting the toddler-aged Titans, which always led to [[HilarityEnsues wacky antics]]. One in particular saw Supergirl babysit nearly every toddler that had previously been babysat -- it ended with [[ItMakesSenseInContext the treehouse getting flooded with animals]] and her making the wise decision to retire from the job.

* ''Series/DrakeAndJosh'' Josh volunteers himself and Drake to babysit for his father's boss's baby. Things are quiet quite for a few minutes...until one of Megan's practical jokes makes the baby wake up and cry. HilarityEnsues.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'' has the episode "The Responsible", in which Gumball's parents leave for a parents' evening, so Gumball and Darwin themselves offer to babysit their little sister Anais. As expected from the duo, HilarityEnsues, and by the end of the episode, the house is flooded amongst other antics.

Essentially, this is an episode where a character is forced to babysit a small child or a baby, usually a OneShotCharacter. The character that is doing the babysitting may either wind up being a BabysitterFromHell or a BadlyBatteredBabysitter. Sometimes, the child being babysat may be a BrattyHalfPint, a BabysittersNightmare, or an EnfantTerrible ([[EggSitting Eggs are their own trope]]).

* The first episode of ''Anime/DevilMayCryTheAnimatedSeries'' has Dante being saddled with the task of watching over a little girl who is the sole heir of a large fortune, with other people seeking to use demons to kill her.

* ''Little Jolyne goes to Morioh'' is a doujin about Josuke Higashikata watching over Jotaro Kujo's daughter Jolyne while Jotaro is looking for a Stand user.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles'':

* ''Manga/CaseClosed'' episode 566 is basically Conan's misadventures while taking care of a 2 year old whose mother is a client of Kogoro. This is especially silly since Conan is believed to be a six-year-old.
* Meia's BirthdayEpisode doubles as this in ''Anime/{{Vandread}}'': Meia is stuck babysitting Ezra's baby daughter as part of a ploy to prevent Meia from [[BirthdayHater escaping her own birthday party again]].

* ''Fanfic/JuniorOfficers'' has the chapter aptly titled "Babysitting", where the Octonauts look after Shellington's nephew Periwinkle.
* ''VideoGame/PunchOut'':
** In the ''Fanfic/ShiningAndSweet'' chapter aptly titled "Babysitting", Aran Ryan is put in charge of Bear Hugger's son Raine, Piston Hondo's niece Sakura, and Glass Joe's baby daughter Paige.
** In ''[[https://archiveofourown.org/works/39175473 Full Moons and Silver Spoons]]'', a college-age Glass Joe minds baby Narcis Prince.
