* In ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureDiamondIsUnbreakable'', Sheer Heart Attack kills a tailor by getting him to scream in fear at seeing him, at which point it darts into his mouth.

* ''VideoGame/{{Yakuza}}'' has no shortage of brutal [[SuperMove Heat Moves]] that do this to the opponent: a particularly flinch-worthy one has [[AxCrazy Majima]] smack his foe upside the head with a [[BatterUp baseball bat]], forcing them to their knees. Then he shoves the handle of the bat into their mouth, and delivers a savage kick to the underside of their jaw. ''YIKES.''

Sometimes, she even pulls this on opponents who are tied up in her silk or otherwise restrained, but whom she doesn't feel safe in biting.

In fiction this can be portrayed as a way for villains to get some fitting comeuppance. Perhaps going for the mouth may be the way to AttackItsWeakPoint. If the attacking creature has a BreathWeapon this attack could cause a SuperpowerMeltdown. EatMe can be a way to just bring the mouth to you so you can attack it. An EatTheCamera shot can be used for extra effect.

A SuperTrope to JawBreaker (breaking or tearing the jaw), AteHisGun (where the attack is tragically self inflicted), FeedItABomb (toss an explosive into the target's mouth).

A SisterTrope to EyeScream (another part of the face where an attacks are considered brutal), GroinAttack, BreastAttack, LiteralAssKicking, AgonyOfTheFeet (all serious attacks on sensitive areas).
