* In 1997, several comic artists swapped strips, producing such oddities as a ''ComicStrip/{{Dilbert}}'' comic in the style of ''ComicStrip/FamilyCircus'' (which ''ComicStrip/{{Dilbert}}'' author Scott Adams described as one of the signs of the Apocalypse).

* In 2005, several comics including ''ComicStrip/{{Foxtrot}}'', ''ComicStrip/PearlsBeforeSwine'', and ''ComicStrip/GetFuzzy'', did identical comics where one character plays with a Ouija Board and uses it as an excuse to hit another, eliciting the response "Somehow I imagined the afterlife to be a more peaceful place."

* [[http://www.sydlexia.com/ SydLexia.com]] posted [[http://www.sydlexia.com/top100vb.htm the 100 Best Virtual Boy Games Ever]]. It's obvious that the overall number of [[OtherNintendoSystems Virtual Boy]] games is nowhere near that number. ''Virtual Boy VideoGame/WarioLand'' was the only game listed, and in all 100 spots too, no exceptions. Reading the commentaries, they seem to claim that there are many versions of ''Virtual Boy Wario Land'', even versions for different consoles, all with the same title. Some of the comments were ripped directly from the prior Top 100 lists Syd had made. There were even surprise comments from [[Film/{{Labyrinth}} Jareth The Goblin King]] and AvrilLavigne.

* ''[[http://www.weepodcast.com/?category=Worst+Episode+Ever Worst Episode Ever]]'', a fan podcast ranking the worst episodes of ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'', had two April Fool episodes:
** [[http://www.weepodcast.com/episodes/2015/4/1/worst-episode-ever-25-guardians-of-the-miami Episode 25: Guardians of the Miami]], released in 2015, is actually a review of the ''Series/EmptyNest'' episode "Mom's The Word"
** 2016's [[http://www.weepodcast.com/episodes/2015/4/1/worst-episode-ever-25-guardians-of-the-miami Episode 75: Beethoven's Tenth]], is an actual ''Simpsons'' episode review (specifically, "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS4E17LastExitToSpringfield Last Exit to Springfield]]"), albiet a bogus one as it is reimagined as a ParodyEpisode of ''Literature/LastExitToBrooklyn''. Plus, it was a Season 4 episode, as the podcast only reviews episodes from Season 10 and beyond (with Season 8's "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS9E2ThePrincipalAndThePauper The Principal and the Pauper]]" being a special exception).

Also, if you tried the "free trial", your blog got a business-esque addendum to its name, and your dashboard was overrun by a "helpful" Clippy-esque icon: A copy machine named Coppy which you couldn't get rid of (clicking its X caused it to go away for about 3 seconds before it popped up again). Coppy subsequently became an EnsembleDarkhorse among users.

** 2016: The player has a "Snoopavision" button added to it, which allows you to view any video in the eyes of Music/SnoopDogg. Well, almost any video. Clicking any video with the Snoopavision icon will tell you that the Snoopafied video will be ready by some random and far-off date (eg. 3/19/2146).
