Devastated during the Great War, the Blades were then officially disbanded by the White-Gold Concordant. The survivors were forced underground to avoid the Thalmor, waiting for a new Dragonborn to emerge. Come ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim Skyrim]]'', one appears and the Blades rise once again.
