Stolas began developing actual feelings for Blitzo, but could also barely carrying on a conversation with him that wasn't overtly sexual. Whether Blitzo genuinely cares for Stolas is still up for debate, it's clear that he feels like Stolas views him as nothing more than a plaything, and he finally tells Stolas as much in episode seven.
