* Parodied in ''MonkeyDust'' when one of the Paedofinder General's victims were a couple of Camp Gays based on "some bloke in the pub who knew for definite".

* ''FamilyGuy'''s Herbert is an elderly man whose entire character is based on expressing sexual interest in young boys, particularly Chris.
** Averted by numerous homosexual characters in the show who have never shown any sexual interest in children.

* The 1950s film ''Red Light, Green Light: Meeting Strangers'', and not only did it have the "all pedophiles are strangers lurking in bushes" trope (we don't have that one on here yet, actually), but most of the film was about young boys being targeted by older men. The very last segment in the film was about a girl who was targeted by... an older woman. [[SarcasmMode Nice to see the makers of the film were equal-opportunity homophobes]].

* ''SouthPark'' has mocked this attitude twice. In the episode "Cripple Fight", Big Gay Al is fired from the [[ScoutOut Mountain Scouts]] because of his sexuality and replaced with an supposedly heterosexual man, who really ''does'' molest the boys. And in "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy", Kyle's baby brother, Ike, [[RefugeInAudacity has an affair with his kindergarden teacher.]] Kyle finds out and goes to the police, who immediately assume that the teacher is a man. Once they find out that she's actually an attractive young woman, they stop taking the situation seriously.

* Pegasus in YuGiOhAbridged is possibly gay. In the second "Marik's evil council" episode, he invites eight year old Rebecca Hawkins to "Touch his funny bunny", leading Marik to snap, "Pegasus, stop trying to molest children!"

* ''BeingHuman'': When Mitchell accidentally lends his new (child) friend a porno instead of a comedy, you can understand why he and his housemate get called 'fag peedos'...
** It was actually heterosexual porn, with an invisible female partner. But the fact that Mitchell lives (seemingly alone) with another man may have prompted the "fag" part.

* ''{{Milk}}'' points out the historical fact that even into the late 1970s homosexual school teachers could LEGALLY be fired for "being a danger to children" using this trope as a pretext.
** In 2010 it is still legal in many US states to fire a teacher for being gay. Even better, the pedophile priest scandal is being spun by conservatives as a "gay pedophile priest" scandal, because naturally all you have to do to prevent pedophilia is get rid of the gays.

* The Boy Scouts of America do not allow homosexuals to be members or leaders. In the episode of ''PennAndTellerBullshit'' that addressed this, an Eagle Scout defended the policy by claiming that this trope is true.
** Actually, the real reason for the ban is that homosexuality violates the traditional conservative values of the group; the contention is that having gay scout leaders would be hypocritical, like electing a butcher to lead PETA.
*** Using this trope as an excuse so they won't look like ignorant bigots.
**** The aforementioned ''PennAndTellerBullshit'' episode also mentions that the scouts actually used to actively dissuade scoutmasters from getting involved in "matters of the family" explicitly saying "you are probably not qualified to do this." Explicitly banning those who aren't straight (as opposed to simply "morally straight") is definitely {{Newer Than They Think}}
* In the wake of the child abuse scandals, defendants of the Catholic Church including [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j8PemrX5DA&feature=player_embedded Bill Donahue]] invoke the trope to continue their stance of homosexuality as a sin.
* Australian senator Bill Heffernan accused openly gay High Court Justice Michael Kirby of soliciting sex from underage male prostitutes. His proof was soon found to be a complete forgery.
** He is also once accused of saying that he doesn't "mind gay people. I just wish they'd stop fucking kids"

Unfortunately not quite a DeadHorseTrope yet, the basic idea of this one is that all homosexuals (especially gay men) have a sexual interest in underage kids and will molest them if they get a chance. Sometimes coupled to the idea that the ''only'' people who have sexual attractions to children below a certain age are homosexuals (still especially gay men).

Despite numerous studies showing that most child molesters are otherwise straight.

* Subverted twice in ''SouthPark'': Once in the episode "Cripple Fight", where Big Gay Al is fired from the [[ScoutOut Mountain Scouts]] and replaced with an aggressive pedophile, and in the episode "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy", in which a young blond kindergarten teacher gets involved in a relationship with Kyle's baby brother, Ike.
* ''FamilyGuy'''s Herbert. There are plenty of comedic cutaways to sissy men, manly women, and evil bisexuals, nameless cardboard cutouts never portrayed as in a normal romantic relationship with a member of the same sex. And then there's elderly, high-voiced Herbert, whose entire character is based on expressing his sexual interest in young boys. Herbert is a now a main character in the show and gets about as much screen time as any of the other non-Griffin characters. The fact that Seth has expressed support for gay rights in the past doesn't diminish the tastelessness of many of the gay jokes in the show.
** Particularly offensive in the extreme (even by Seth [=MacFarlane=]'s [[DeadBabyComedy standards]]) was a CutawayGag on ''TheClevelandShow'' about a gay-themed Christmas party, to which Cleveland remembers the last one he went to, which involved Herbert entertaining young boys.
