* MultiethnicName: Many of the characters have some combination of Spanish and Tagalog names (e.g. Carlos Mabagsic, Margarita Buisan, etc.). That's not even to mention the unique Chinese-Filipino surnames, e.g. Hocson (Jocson), Tuason, etc.—that is, surnames that originated as the full names of Chinese ancestors but were cobbled together and written with Spanish orthography to follow colonial naming customs.
