** A strong moral of the series is that people are rarely how they appear, often masking their true nature to conform with what they believe society expects of them. Claire, for example, is initially presented as a bully, and since her interactions with ''Revolution's'' original protagonist are limited, that is what's expected of Claire. In reality, she's troubled by this and bullies Rae mainly out of a misplaced sense of obligation to meet the [[NobleBigot proud noble]] stereotype.

* AllThereInTheManual: Exploited. Rae, as a diehard fan of ''Revolution'' in her previous life, had gone to the trouble of buying every single piece of supplementary paratextual material out there, and knows it all by heart. She leverages this to great effect in order to navigate the game's world, taking advantage of setting knowledge and planning around character secrets and motivations which the game's standard protagonist would have no way of knowing.

Just watched the episode on crunchyroll with English subs: "Homosexual love isn't the only kind of forbidden love. You and Lene are blood siblings, as well as - ". Same line from the novel.

* AdaptationDeviation: The anime notably has Rae speak of Lene and her brother's relationship in much harsher terms, calling out how disturbing it is that incest is seen in a similar light to homosexuality. Additionally, the anime truncates many of the scenes involving the siblings so that only Rae's initial encounter with Lambert addresses the incestuous relationship.

I think this is the right trope? Reading the manga and watching the show, they definitely came down on the incestuous nature of the twin's relationship harder in the anime.
