The Azure have the attitudes and hatred of humanity that the Movers did, while the Ring work the machines and revere humans the way the Circles did (one line clearly reflecting the "circle of pain" comment), and both have shades of the Crimson.

Both of them look forward to their first mission, because none of the alien Viciss show signs of targeting Ptaal.
