Best known (where known, where it is known at all) all, for its combining RuleOfCool (cyborg dragons swordfighting on the moon!) with irritatingly high levels of PurpleProse, TechnoBabble, SesquipedalianLoquaciousness, WordSaladPhilosophy, and other piles of words that leave the reader exhausted and confused.

Rifts in time during the Middle Ages allow humans to summon powerful prehistoric beasts and future technologies in this fantastic novel about the influence of perception on reality and the role of political power on the conversion of knowledge into ideology.

Under the auspices of the hominids, dragon king Drekkenoth has attempted to use knowledge to corrupt the minds of all the dragons in his kingdom but is stymied by the existence of a single source of uncorrupt knowledge: a tome of omniscience known as the Lexicon.

Dennagon, a lowly dragon sentry, takes it upon himself to discover this lexicon, an act that leads to his expulsion from the mainstream world of worms and humans and the creation of a band of dissident dragons who wage war on the corruption of Drekkenoth and his human masters.

During his seemingly endless quest to find the Lexicon, battles with cyborg technodragons and bewildering encounters with the enigmatic forces of time provide Dennagon with insight into the ephemerality of omniscience and the instability of the temporal as he discovers that there is more to life than the lore he has so desperately been searching for.

Added DiffLines:

* ArtisticLicensePhysics:
** The author tries to make Dennagon seem smart by making him recite scientific facts. This backfires at times, such as when he claims that "velocity is distance ''multiplied'' by time". [[note]]For reference velocity is distance ''divided'' by time.[[/note]]
** There are several in regard to altitude and air pressure. For example early on Dennagon is said to be flying ''one thousand'' miles high. For reference the International Space Station averages out at a quarter of that.
** The characters at one point use their wings to fly to the moon. There is just no way a celestial body can orbit within another celestial body's atmosphere, drag would make it lose momentum and crash. Leaving that aside, the moon orbits Earth at a distance of 380,000 kilometers. Depending on the dragons' flight speed, it would take them weeks or even months to travel that far, not to mention that their wings would be absolutely useless in the vacuum of space.
