One alien, who interprets the vision differently, briefly unblocks the signal, but is imprisoned for his efforts. Their plan hit an unfortunate snag when the Sun Station fails to make the sun go supernova, which is needed to power their time loop device. Before they can come up with alternative options, a comet called the Interloper enters the system and violently spreads ghost matter across the entire star system, killing all of the Nomai.
