** Mr. Krabs has wrecked [=SpongeBob=]'s house, eaten him when he was shipped back home after a failed attempt to infiltrate Pearl's slumber party, tried to tear a guy's arm off over a ''penny'', stole a $1.25 secret ingredient and tried to frame [=SpongeBob=] for it, and sold [=SpongeBob=]'s soul to the Flying Dutchman for 62 cents after [=SpongeBob=] stood up for him. Even ''[[EveryoneHasStandards Squidward]]'', who hates [=SpongeBob=] enough to let it happen, called him out on the last one, not believing that Mr. Krabs could be ''THAT'' big of a Jerkass, and Krabs himself realizes he went too far there and throws the money back. It only gets worse as the seasons go on where Krabs does anything in his power to get money even if it involves causing extreme misfortune for others ("The Krabby Kronicle" and "The Krusty Sponge" are prime examples of this) and let's not even get started on what [[KnightTemplar Krabs does to Plankton in the later seasons]]. For the most part, the callousness of Mr Krabs's and everyone else's character (everyone is a Jerkass at times) is a case of DependingOnTheWriter; they can shift back to their more likable early characterizations at times, though when they play this trope, they play it ''very straight''. For example, in "SpongeBob, You're Fired", he fired [=SpongeBob=] (who's his best employee) because it would save him 5 cents.

Even when she's not bothering Arthur, she tends to be selfish, rude and bossy to other people, and can even be borderline sociopathic from time to time. That being said, she is not without her fair share of [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold redeemable moments]].

* ''WesternAnimation/TalesFromTheCryptkeeper'': The hunter from the episode "Hunted". He openly admits to the English-speaking Amazonian native that he will use the animals he captured to make fur coats, rugs and fancy appetizers and not take them to a zoo as the boy hoped. The hunter tries to justify his actions by claiming his people also hunt the animals for food, but the boy retorts that they only hunt the animals for as much as they need. He also lets the hunter know that they are not as numerous as he believes and the ones he captured may even be the last of their species. Hunter's response? "Then all the better. The rarer they are the higher the price." Wow, what a total shithead. Luckily he gets his at the end of the episode.

** Evil Earl is the biggest offender of this trope (Despite that there are NUMEROUS characters in the show that follow his path) He is pretty arrogant and bitter to nearly EVERYONE around him. But to be honest, you can't blame him for his personality and for him being the jerk he is. His father was an OUTCAST.
** Don't get me started with Trafalgar's cousin MYRON.

** But none of them hold a candle to Tom's owner (whom fans mistakenly call Clint Clobber due to the ''very'' strong resemblances between them) from the Gene Deitch shorts; he had an extremely nasty temper and beat the crap out of Tom for even the littlest offenses. Sometimes, it got so bad that even [[EvenEvilHasStandards Jerry was shown wincing in shock.]] In fact, "Sorry Safari" has him give a PsychoticSmirk at harming Tom for the umpteenth time. But perhaps what's worse is that [[KarmaHoudini he never got punished for violently beating up Tom...]] [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty until the above-mentioned episode]] ''[[KarmaHoudiniWarranty finally]]'' [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty rectified this.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Caillou}}'': Caillou himself acts like an complete asshole in most episodes of the show, from pinching his baby sister Rosie (who was less than a year old) to acting like a brat in person. “Caillou Goes to the Circus” & “Big Brother Caillou” are great examples of this. It's no coincidence that so many parents in RealLife hate him.

* All of the incidentals can be this, including Scooter, the nicest incidental.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheMrMenShow'': Most of the negative personality characters tend to be this, but the [[MeaningfulName appropriately-named]] [[FrenchJerk Mr. Rude]] stands out the most.

** Gus Bachman-Turner is a selfish, gross, hygienically challenged, hostile individual of an asshole. He [[AttentionWhore does stupid shit to seek attention]], is quite the unloyal companion to Tommy and Lola, puts himself and his affairs above others', and is overall an obnoxious twerp. Despite this, he's also a JerkWithAHeartOfGold, as he'll usually always be on Tommy, Lola, and Robotboy's side at the end of the day, and help them whenever they need it.
** Tommy's run-of-the-mill brother Donny likes to berate and pick on him for no apparent reason, and [[KarmaHoudini usually gets away with it]], with [[MisplacedRetribution Tommy being the one who gets in trouble instead]].

** Tina Rex is a TyrannosaurusRex and is the school's nightmare. However, she [[TookALevelInKindness becomes a better person in season 4]].

** Larry 3000 is hardly a saint either. He also loves participating in causing historical inaccuracies for his own self-benefit, is very snarky towards other people, and at one point he [[ExiledToTheCouch made Tuddrussel sleep on the sofa]] just for hanging out with his ex-wife Shiela.

** Montana Max is an even bigger one. He's a [[NoIndoorVoice loud-mouth]], [[{{Greed}} greedy]], [[SpoiledBrat snot-nosed brat]] who serves as the main antagonist of the show.

** Buck Tuddrussel is a huge one. He is a jerk towards Larry 3000 as he repays Larry for his kindness to him by berating him for his effeminate behavior as Tuddrussel shoved Larry into a dishwasher and set it to high heat all beacause Larry cleaned Tuddrussel's phaser guns. Tuddrussel also loves GoingNative in time eras that are undergoing historical inaccuracies, therefore jeopardizing history by participating in the shenanigans of other historical figures all for his own selfish gain.

* ''WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan'': Nova. Most of the cast can be pretty bad, but Nova is ridiculously overboard in this respect, being an arrogant, cocky bastard who has a a huge dislike of Spider-Man and uses any chance he can to put him down.

** Everyone of the Titans has their moments (yes, even [[JerkassBall Starfire]]). Despite their differences, they are good friends to one another, but sometimes they're outright jerks. Special mention goes to Robin, an uptight Jerkass who frequently abuses his teammates verbally and in some episodes physically, and Cyborg and Beast Boy, who are incredibly obnoxious and lazy, and in the episode, ''Staring Into the Future'' even try to ruin the futures of Robin, Starfire, and Raven because of their own selfish ways.

** Jedi General Pong Krell in the Umbarra Arc in Season Four. [[spoiler: It turns out his jerk personality was intentional, as he was planning to join the Count Dooku and the CIS after sabotaging the Republic effort on Umbarra]].

** Lars is a high school slacker who constantly antagonizes Steven, because he thinks Steven is lame. Though he does [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold have his more heartwarming moments]]. He eventually [[CharacterDevelopment loses a lot of his jerk behavior during the Season 5's "Wanted" arc]].
** [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Kevin]], who is one of only two characters Steven openly hates (the other one being Marty, described below). At a club, he hits on [[spoiler: Stevonnie, a fusion between 13-year old lead character Steven, and Connie, Steven's 12-year old friend. Kevin is in his late teens. Of course, he doesn't know this at the time, but continues to hit on them and try to dance with them after they made it explicitly clear they weren't interested. He runs away as soon as they unfuse. Then, months later, Kevin and Steven meet again when Kevin antagonises Steven's dad, Greg Universe, at his car wash. Nitpicking Greg's washing of his expensive sports car, he then drives away without paying. After that, one thing leads to another and Stevonnie ends up against Kevin in a street race, throughout which, Kevin flirts with them, knowing they're two young kids. Then, when asked why he acts like he does, he makes up a story about having a sick younger brother, than laughs when Stevonnie believes him. He goes on to explain he acts like this because he finds it funny, and wins the race.]]

** Harold Bill Reginald Scott, a background character pretty much acts like this, he is very ill-tempered & cynical, frequently hostile towards the other characters, and can definitely be unpleasant and rude.

** Jedi General Pong Krell in the Umbarra Arc in Season Four. [[spoiler: It turns out his jerk personallity was intentional, as he was planning to join the Count Dooku and the CIS after sabotaging the Republic effort on Umbarra]].

** Vicky. She's a [[BabysitterFromHell mean, evil babysitter]] who only acts [[BitchInSheepsClothing nice around adults]]. She takes sadistic pleasure in torturing Timmy and her [[BigBrotherBully little sister]] [[StalkerWithACrush Tootie]]. Her bullying is so bad that Timmy was declared the most miserable kid on Earth. Her FreudianExcuse doesn't cut it either.
