* ''WesternAnimation/CloneHigh'': "Money Can Buy Me Love: Stupid is as Cupid Does" features a comeback of the sapient skunk who enjoys tormenting Scudworth known as Skunky-Poo, but adds a different layer to their rivalry by revealing that Skunky-Poo is a woman and that she and Scudworth have repressed feelings for one another. Scudworth even fantasizes about marrying Skunky-Poo, having sex with her and having a child (which turns out to be a bunch of explosives Skunky-Poo uses to mess with him yet again).

* ''WesternAnimation/ObanStarRacers'': Eva, the human heroine, gets a crush on the [[HeroesWantRedHeads handsome]] alien [[KnightInShiningArmor prince]] [[TheRival Aikka]].

* Launchpad from ''WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017'' has been in a relationship with both a mer-duck and a sapient cloud of energy at one different points. [[spoiler:He also falls in love with [[{{Lunarians}} Penumbra]] in the Season 2 finale, though [[IncompatibleOrientation nothing ever comes of it]].]]

* You'd be hard pressed to find anyone on the ''WesternAnimation/LegionOfSuperHeroes'' who isn't doing this, since they're all from [[HumanAliens different planets]] (e.g. Bouncing Boy from Earth and Triplicate Girl from Cargg). About the only aversion were Lightning Lad's parents, who had about three seconds of screen time in the whole series.

* ''Literature/LittleBear'''s friendship with Emily, a ''human'', is oddly romantic like, even for children (um, and [[FurryConfusion cubs]]) their age.

* In ''WesternAnimation/JmiesGotTentacles'', Erwin develops a crush on Jamie's cousin Josette (who, like Jamies is an alien from the planet Blarb), and she seems to likes Erwin back. She is ultimately revealed to be the Vlok aide in disguise (but still an alien).

* ''WesternAnimation/TheDragonPrince'': Gives us Callum, a human, falling in love with Rayla, and elf. Considering that their two races have been at war for centuries, though, no one really seems to have batted an eye at the pair yet. They even joke that the world isn't ready for their love and that their relationship must be kept a secret. There are a couple of instances in an earlier episode (long before Callum and Rayla developed their feelings) in which Soren, another human, seemed to be attracted to Rayla, to which she was unimpressed and nothing really came of it. Another such relationship is implied toward the end of Season 3 between Amaya, Callum's aunt, and another elf named Janai.

* The 2010 ''[[WesternAnimation/PoundPuppies2010 Pound Puppies]]'' series hints this between one-time characters Cuddles P. Wigglebottom III (a dog) and Madam Pinkiepuss (a cat) in "The Prince and the Pupper", with the hints becoming confirmation in "The Ruff Ruff Bunch". More hints come in "Kennel Kittens Return", concerning [[spoiler: Squirt]] and Fluffy.

* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'' apparently loves this: The OfficialCouple of [[TokenHuman Robin]] and [[HumanAliens Starfire]], the short-lived MayDecemberRomance between [[HalfHumanHybrid Raven]] and [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Malchior]], human Terra and [[{{Animorphism}} shapeshifting]] [[PointyEars Beast]] [[CuteLittleFangs Boy]], Kitten and Fang (we are not sure what exactly he is, but he has a giant spider for a head. And she's the daughter of a moth-man, although she ''really'' takes after her (unseen) mother).

* ''WesternAnimation/VoltronLegendaryDefender'': Interspecies relationships in the Galra Empire are surprisingly common and hybrids make up a notable portion of the Empire’s population. Even the crown prince is a hybrid, born of a relationship between [[BigBad Emperor Zarkon]] and [[spoiler:Haggar/Honerva]], an Altean. The place of half-breeds in Galra society is a controversial grey area; some are perfectly accepting of them, some tolerate their existence but think they shouldn’t be in the military, and some see them as sickening.
** [[spoiler: One of the main characters (Keith) is the result of a relationship [[HalfHumanHybrid between a male human and a female Galra]] who somehow ended up on Earth.]]
** Lance is apparently a big believer in the [[BoldlyComing Captain Kirk school of interspecies relations]]. Unfortunately for him, he’s also a massive CasanovaWannabe and has yet to score with any alien babes, though not for lack of trying. [[spoiler: In the final season, he has a successful RelationshipUpgrade with Princess Allura.]]

* If you think about it, many of the couples in ''WesternAnimation/WinxClub'' could count as this. The girls of the Winx Club are fairies, and the specialists are... human-looking aliens, or fairy and wizard in the case of Layla and Nabu. Near the end of Season 4 we learn that [[spoiler: Roxy's mother is Morgana, the queen of the fairies. In the last episode of Season 4, Morgana reunites with her husband Klaus (a human)]].

* ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice2010'':

** Demona and Macbeth played a little with the trope before becoming arch-enemies: to quote Greg Weisman, she was “a little bit in love with him” for a while. Macbeth was a good friend to her and the other gargoyles, but he was HappilyMarried and may have been entirely unaware of her feelings.

** It's eventually revealed that [[spoiler:Luz and Amity weren't the first human/witch pairing on the Boiling Isles, with Belos/Philip having murdered his older brother Caleb back in the 1600s due to him falling in love with a witch named Evelyn. It's also implied that Caleb and Evelyn were the ancestors of the Clawthorne family, which would mean that Dell/Gwen and Eda/Raine are also examples of this, as both Dell and Eda would have trace amounts of human ancestry.[[note]]Eda's older sister Lilith would also be partially human, but the fact that she's aromantic asexual would preclude her from being in a relationship[[/note]]]]

** Human general Amaya and Sunfire elf Janai are also bitter enemies first, until they like and trust each other, and finally fight side by side. When the Queen of Dragons comes to, the two hold hands, [[HoYay which implies that they have come even closer to each other]].
