** In ''Series/DobutsuSentaiZyuohger,'' four of the six Rangers are from an alternate dimension populated by PettingZooPeople and remain cut off from their world for most of the series. In the post-series movie, the two worlds have become one and humans and "Zyumen" are living together. Misao's rival during a martial arts tournament, who helps him over the course of the story as they figure out the evil plot du jour, is a rhino Zyuman, and they end up falling in love. Thing is, a Zyuman is most definitely ''not'' a human with [[LittleBitBeastly some small, cute hint at an animal nature]] tacked on, and the Zyuohgers' ability to look human is a disguise provided by their changing devices; no other Zyumen have this. Lilian is a rhino on two legs with blond hair thrown in, has no other form, and nobody ever thought she did. Misao loves her all the same. (Similarly, one must wonder what a human looks like to a rhino on two legs...) It's played for laughs at first, but by the end they act like any other couple, with the full support of the others. This makes for the first pairing in either franchise where the non-human member of the OfficialCouple was clearly non-human-looking.

* ''Series/ADiscoveryOfWitches'': Diana starts one with Matthew. It turns out this violates the Covenant, a treaty between witches, demons and vampires which forbids such relationships due to fears it would upset the balance of power between them.

** Branningan (cat person) and his human wife, Valerie, in [[Recap/DoctorWhoS29E3Gridlock "Gridlock"]].

* In ''Series/{{Smallville}}'', obviously, Clark and any female he is involved with. It helps that he is a {{Human Alien|s}}.
** Also [[spoiler:Chloe and Davis. Borders on DidYouJustRomanceCthulhu]].
* The KoreanDrama ''Series/MyGirlfriendIsANineTailedFox'' features the titular nine-tailed fox, a mythical Korean creature which takes the form of a human woman ([[AttractiveBentSpecies and a ridiculously good-looking one in this instance]]).
** Also fellow Korean TV series ''Forbidden Love'' and ''Gumiho: Tales of a Fox Child.''
* In an episode of ''Series/GreenAcres'', Arnold the Pig falls in love with Mr Haney's bassett hound Cynthia.

* Stefan/Elena from ''Series/TheVampireDiaries''. Stefan is a century old immortal (vampire) and Elena is an eighteen year old mortal human. This changed when [[spoiler:Elena was turned into a vampire as well.]]
** Matt/Caroline (human/vampire) in season 2. In fact, pretty much every relationship with Caroline falls into this: Tyler/Caroline (werewolf/vampire), Klaus/Caroline (vampire-werewolf hybrid/vampire), Jesse/Caroline (human/vampire). Although [[spoiler: the latter turns into a vampire eventually.]]
** There's also Damon/Katherine and Stefan/Katherine, back when the Salvatores were human. And Jeremy/Anna (human/vampire) falled into this, as it was before [[spoiler: he became a supernatural hunter).]]
** Moving to ''Series/TheOriginals'', we have Marcel/Rebekah; while both of them are vampire, flashbacks revealed that they started their romance when Marcel was a human a hundred years ago, and he was later turned by Klaus in exchange for leaving Rebekah. Also, there's Marcel/Sophie (vampire/witch) and Elijah/Celeste (original vampire/witch).
* Early on in ''Series/TheGoodPlace'', Jason asks Eleanor if [[ArtificialIntelligence Jan]][[RidiculouslyHumanRobot et]] is single, to which Eleanor snaps that he can't date Janet because she's not human. A Luxan, he was married (and had a child with) a Sebacean ([[HumanAliens human-offshoot]]); had a long-running romance with Chiana (a [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe Gray Skinned Space Babe]]); thought about Jool (an Interion); and admitted planning on "approaching" Zhaan ([[PlantAliens human-looking plant]]) in one episode. And this doesn't begin to cover innuendo with random denizens of [[AdventureTowns Adventure Planets]].

** Moya's offspring (''LivingShip/regular spaceship''), though that was less "romance" and more "mad science experiment".

** Astrid and Bannakaffalatta from [[Recap/DoctorWho2007CSVoyageOfTheDamned "Voyage of the Damned"]], though that seems to be mostly friendly banter.

** The fourth series gives us [[spoiler:Lady Eddison]] and her long ago love affair with [[spoiler:a giant sentient wasp in [[Recap/DoctorWhoS30E7TheUnicornAndTheWasp "The Unicorn and the Wasp"]]]]. Though he did have a human form.

** In the classic series, Susan (Time Lord) left the TARDIS crew to be with David Campbell (Human), while Leela (Human) left to be with Andred (Time Lord). EU sources say that Susan and David adopted three orphaned human children, and then had one of their own, making their family members examples of HalfHumanHybrid and InterspeciesAdoption.
* ''Series/{{Torchwood}}'''s Tosh and "Mary" (in "Greeks Bearing Gifts").
* The other ''Doctor Who'' spin-off ''Series/Class2016'' has Charlie/Matteusz (Rhodian-disguised-as-human/human - Charlie's disguise is so full that Matteusz twice explains that he has no apparent anatomical differences) and Quill/Ballon (Quill-disguised-as-human/shapeshifting-Law-locked-in-human-form).

* ''Series/TokusouSentaiDekaranger'' has Doggie Cruger, an anthropomorphic dog, who has feelings for his subordinate, the half-human half-swan person Swan Shiratori (whose own parents must have fit this trope). This plot element wasn't retained when ''Dekaranger'' was adapted into ''Series/PowerRangersSPD'' and Cruger's counterpart was married to a new character of his own species (though there are a few hints that Swan's counterpart Kat does have feelings for Kruger).

* ''Magiranger's Power Rangers'' counterpart, ''Series/PowerRangersMysticForce'', has several interspecies {{Last Minute Hookup}}s, such as Leelee and Phineas (Vampire (or at least born from a vampire if not one herself) and troll/goblin hybrid), Toby and Necrolai (human and (ex-?)vampire), Madison and Nick (human and {{Human Alien|s}} from mystic dimension), with a little subtext between Daggeron and Itassis (mystic {{Human Alien|s}} and the ''highest-ranking demon now that the BigBad is gone'') for flavor.

* A weird one is revealed in ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'', although it actually relates to characters from ''Series/EngineSentaiGoOnger''. The Gokaigers' latest mecha, Machalcon, is apparently [[spoiler: the son of Bear RV (obviously, a bear) and Speedor (a condor). Machalcon is a falcon. [[FridgeLogic How exactly does Bear + Condor = Falcon?]]]]
* ''Series/MorkAndMindy''.
* ''Series/WizardsvsAliens'': Human Wizard Tom Clark and Lexi of The Nekross. After several close moments across series one and two, the two become trapped in the mystical Neverside realm where magic reins surpreme and where time passes differently for any who serve there (i.e, years pass in this realm while hours pass in our own). In between searching for Lexi's brother, the two reveal the true extent of their feelings and consumate their relationship, producing a child they name after Tom's friend Benny. Ultimately Benny arrives and the family attempt to leave the Neverside with Lexi's brother, but upon leaving, all they had accomplished in the Neverside, including their son, vanishes from existence. Tom and Lexi mourn the loss of the child, and go back to their seperate lives amongst their own people, with the memory of their days together gradually fading until it feels more like a dream.

However excluding Elmira (who is a proper [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe Green Skinned Space Teen]]) every alien in this series is a {{Human Alien|s}}. Also, aside from Radu, Suzee & Elmira, the other "aliens" are actually descended from genetically altered humans created to live on other planets in the solar system.
* Tragically played with in the ''Series/{{CSI}}'' episode [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom "Fur and Loathing"]]; while all the characters involved are physically human, the victim was accidentally killed as an indirect result of his new flame's former boyfriend poisoning him with castor oil for stealing his girl... all on the basis of fursona species segregation (the victim was a raccoon, the girl a lamb, the boyfriend a wolf).
* The centaurs in ''Series/XenaWarriorPrincess'' (who are [[OneGenderRace all male]]) and human women.
* ''Series/{{Hyperdrive}}''. Hilariously spoofed in the compulsory sex education video watched before a FirstContact mission. We don't see it (fortunately) but the crews' reactions to what they are watching show it would make even Kirk think twice.

** Captain Jack and... anyone and anything. There's a good reason he's the page image for ExtremeOmnisexual. According to the Doctor, by the 51st century humans in general embody the BoldlyComing philosophy, although Jack is the only one who exhibits it.
