Ryoken could also remove any traces of his real name as well, seeing as he is such a skilled hacker. Remember when Playmaker declared he would uncover all of the Knights of Hanoi's identities? Perhaps Yusaku kept Ryoken's real name secret to prevent him from being hunted down; he wants Ryoken to return after all.

Seeing as how Dr. Kogami, the one who instigated the Lost Incident in the first place, would be the most likely person to kidnap Yusaku, it would be ''pretty'' hard to believe the person who keeps on changing Bohman's memories--who turns out to be Lightning, the leader of the Ignises--would have known that Ryoken was involved in said kidnapping, especially since Lightning did not exist at the time of their meeting and there would have been no data on said meeting. This fact convinced Yusaku once and for all that he isn’t a fake, erasing his doubts.
*** Ryoken, being eight at that time, [[UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom most likely did not intentionally lead Yusaku to being kidnapped]] hence him becoming Yusaku's voice of hope; [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone he probably felt guilty]] for unknowingly dooming Yusaku to such a horrible fate, which means Ryoken being the one to encourage Yusaku was not by mere chance or luck. It's not as though Ryoken and the other Knights are not skilled enough to fight Lightning and his minions. That would also have saved him the trouble of having to go after Ai, another Ignis. Instead, he took the time to code a program that would protect them and deliver it ''personally''. He could have had one of the Knights deliver it instead, and it would have been safer to do so; after all, if Ryoken is taken out, the Knights of Hanoi would lose its leader. Why would he go himself and by himself? Because he knows Yusaku trusts him and trusts him ''[[{{Understatement}} a lot]]''. Yusaku installed the program with ''zero'' hesitation after Ryoken explain what it was instead of analyzing or destroying it. Yusaku trusts Ryoken ''that'' much.
** Ryoken even called it a "get-well gift" after Bohman forced Yusaku's and his third duel into a DRAW.
