Considering that line is sung during a run through of all the main cast members (and Revolver's shot has him with the rest of the Hanoi), I think it's supposed to be about all of them rather than just Yusaku and Ryoken specifically.

Foe Yay has been cut.

** Their first moment is in their meeting in episode 84. It starts off more as more FoeYay, with Takeru refusing to work with the Hanoi when they offer a team-up to combat Lightning due to his past with them, leading to him angrily challenging Ryoken to a duel. However, when it gets to his turn, Ryoken passes in order to allow Takeru to vent his anger out at him and apologize in his own way, even telling him his true identity afterwards. Flame later points out that considering Ryoken only really needed a skilled hacker (which Takeru is definitely not), he likely invited Takeru in the first place with the express purpose of making amends.

earrings.

* Quite subtle, but in episode 50, when Flame mentioned Dr. Kogami and his son Revolver wanting to kill the Ignises, Flame never mentioned Revolver's ''real'' name. It's incredibly likely that Yusaku and Shoichi were the ones to reveal the incident to the public since Takeru learned of why he was kidnapped, but it seems like Revolver's real name wasn't revealed. Yusaku didn't reveal Revolver's real name to Takeru and Flame either, and it's possible they don't know that Dr. Kogami's son's real name is Ryoken since Yusaku and Shoichi themselves, who had access to SOL Technologies' data after invading the database, didn't learn of Revolver's real name until Dr. Kogami mentioned it before sacrificing himself and Ryoken himself gave it out. Ryoken could also remove any traces of his real name as well, seeing as he is such a skilled hacker. Remember when Playmaker declared he would uncover all of the Knights of Hanoi's identities? Perhaps Yusaku kept Ryoken's real name secret to prevent him from being hunted down; he wants Ryoken to return after all.
* Episode 58 showed us how Yusaku and Ryoken first met each other. [[MeetCute They bumped into each other when they both came out of the corner]] which isn't something out of place in a {{shoujo}} manga. Yusaku even stated that is the reason Ryoken couldn't stand his wrongdoings and became Yusaku's voice of hope.
** Speaking of episode 58, when Yusaku asked Bohman who kidnapped him, Bohman replied that it was Dr. Kogami. Guess how Yusaku knew Bohman was wrong? He had memories of meeting ''Ryoken'' shortly before he was kidnapped. Seeing as how Dr. Kogami, the one who instigated the Lost Incident in the first place, would be the most likely person to kidnap Yusaku, it would be ''pretty'' hard to believe the person who keeps on changing Bohman's memories--who turns out to be Lightning, the leader of the Ignises--would have known that Ryoken was involved in said kidnapping, especially since Lightning did not exist at the time of their meeting and there would have been no data on said meeting. This fact convinced Yusaku once and for all that he isn’t a fake, erasing his doubts.
*** Ryoken, being eight at that time, [[UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom most likely did not intentionally lead Yusaku to being kidnapped]] hence him becoming Yusaku's voice of hope; [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone he probably felt guilty]] for unknowingly dooming Yusaku to such a horrible fate, which means Ryoken being the one to encourage Yusaku was not by mere chance or luck. [[WhatCouldHaveBeen Ryoken most likely actually just wanted to show Yusaku his deck at his house, become friends with Yusaku, and did not intend anything bad.]] The fact that something bad ''[[{{Understatement}} did]]'' happen must have made Ryoken feel ''horrible''.
*** Seeing as how Yusaku remembered Ryoken from all those years ago, he ''still'' didn't bear any grudges against Ryoken after learning Ryoken was his special person. This, coming from an ''emissary of revenge''. That's because Yusaku probably does not think Ryoken intentionally lured him in and is instead eternally grateful to Ryoken for being his voice of hope.
* In the end of episode 73, Ryoken--alone--visited Café Nagi to see Yusaku and give him a program that would protect him from being attacked [[YourSoulIsMine like how Bohman had attacked Jin]]. [[VillainRespect Ryoken respects Yusaku so much]], he wants Yusaku to survive the fight against Lightning [[TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou so he can settle things personally with Yusaku]]. [[EnemyMine Using the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" logic]] he used to justify giving Yusaku the program, if Ryoken really hated and resented Yusaku--for example from Yusaku stopping the Tower of Hanoi and inadvertently causing his father to die--he could have let Lightning attack Yusaku and Shoichi to eliminate them and then take on Lightning himself. It's not as though Ryoken and the other Knights are not skilled enough to fight Lightning and his minions. That would also have saved him the trouble of having to go after Ai, another Ignis. Instead, he took the time to code a program that would protect them and deliver it ''personally''. He could have had one of the Knights deliver it instead, and it would have been safer to do so; after all, if Ryoken is taken out, the Knights of Hanoi would lose its leader. Why would he go himself and by himself? Because he knows Yusaku trusts him and trusts him ''[[{{Understatement}} a lot]]''. Yusaku installed the program with ''zero'' hesitation after Ryoken explain what it was instead of analyzing or destroying it. Yusaku trusts Ryoken ''that'' much.
** Ryoken even called it a "get-well gift" after Bohman forced Yusaku's and his third duel into a DRAW.
** Seems like Ryoken sees Yusaku as a friend now. Maybe he is warming up to Yusaku...
* In episode 84, Yusaku allowed Takeru to duel Ryoken because Yusaku wanted Takeru to sort his feelings out; Takeru would not be able to work with Ryoken if he still held ill will. In other words, Yusaku strongly implied that he no longer holds ill will toward Ryoken, the leader of the Knights of Hanoi.
** After Ryoken revealed his identity, Yusaku stepped in and revealed that Ryoken was only eight during the Lost Incident and that he in fact saved them. Proving that even after all this time and all that has happened, Yusaku is ''still'' grateful to Ryoken.
** This bit of dialogue before the Tower of Hanoi was reactivated is quite interesting.
