* ''WesternAnimation/CraigOfTheCreek'': The four champions of the other side of the creek, [[TheDragon Maya]], Keun Sup/[[SuperSpeed The Blurr]], Aggie/[[TheBrute The Squashinator]], and Jackie/[[ImprobableAimingSkills The Arm]] initially serve King Xavier faithfully and help him bully and boss around the other children. But later [[spoiler:after his overthrow]], they start to mingle with the kids on both sides of the creek more often and befriend them, even hanging out with the Stump Kids later on as well.

* Subverted with Sergeant Hatred from ''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers''. He switched sides, going from an antagonist to a protagonist. However Venture Industries is just as immoral as the Guild, it's just the Guild admits and embraces this, whereas Dr. Venture doesn't even realize this. (Though at least he's trying to quit being a pedophile.)

** One of the earliest examples in the series is the forest spirit [[PandaingToTheAudience Hei Bai]]. He began rampaging through a village after his forest was destroyed, but Aang reassured him that it would grow back. After that, Hei Bai was a valuable ally to Aang.

* Parodied in one episode of ''WesternAnimation/TheBatman'', where Joker decides to become a crime fighter. Although he does target some actual criminals like Penguin, his "crime fighting" mostly consists of things like poisoning jaywalkers and [[WouldHurtAChild little girls playing hopscotch ("graffiti")]].
* Kevin Levin in ''WesternAnimation/{{Ben 10}}'', at the beginning of the ''WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce'' sequel series.

* Vandal Savage of all people has one in ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague'', though it takes destroying humanity and living alone on the obliterated Earth for 30,000 years to make it happen: in that time he reflects on the error of his ways, learns the futility of lusting for power, and ultimately becomes a kindhearted humble person who decides to live alone on the planet as punishment for his crime. [[spoiler:He gets the chance to SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong when Superman is thrust into his future by Toymaster, by helping to sent Superman back in time with information to prevent his past self from ever destroying the Earth in the first place]].

* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'' has Terra in Season 2 (her [[ComicBook/TeenTitans comics counterpart]] had no such turn), but this is after a time as TheMole and then a FaceHeelTurn, helping Slade achieve near victory. She's the one who ends up killing Slade, but ends up performing a HeroicSacrifice proving that RedemptionEqualsDeath (or Redemption Equals [[TakenForGranite Turning to Stone]]... it is a children/family show, after all).
** Jinx also performs a Heel Face Turn towards the end of Season 5, thanks to being thrown into a DatingCatwoman-ish scenario with Kid Flash (and the fact that [[BrokenPedestal her villainous idol treated her like crap]]; Madame Rouge [[NiceJobFixingItVillain lives to regret that decision]]). She even acts as a DoubleAgent for the heroes during the FinalBattle.

* Mildew Wolf was originally the scheming antagonist of the "It's The Wolf!" segments of ''Creator/HannaBarbera'''s ''The Cattanooga Cats'', and was constantly trying to trick the protagonist, Lambsy, into becoming his next meal. He was later recast, in the Hanna-Barbera [[MassiveMultiplayerCrossover ensemble show]] ''WesternAnimation/LaffALympics'', as a friendly (albeit cynical) sports commentator, with a strong dislike for the Really Rottens' underhanded shenanigans.

** [[spoiler:Andrias himself also makes one in the final two episodes. After hearing Sprig read his old friend Leif's letter pleading him to keep his heart open, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone he relents]], realizing she never stopped loving him. [[IveComeTooFar Seeing no other way out]] of the invasion he and his master [[BigBad the Core]] started, he breaks down crying and [[ILetYouWin allows Anne to strike him down]] when the Core does a VillainOverride on him. He later turns against his master by refusing to help it during the final battle, instead sending his Frobots to help the Calamity girls push back the moon and [[TheDogBitesBack crushing his]] CoolCrown [[TheDogBitesBack to bits]] with his remaining hand. The epilogue shows him (having abdicated his throne) and Triple B on supervised work release, replanting the flora he devastated on the Core's orders, but he's much happier now that he's free from his old master's mind control.]]

** And to another extent, Kuzco himself. Keep in mind that at the start of the film he was a bratty empreror who wanted to destroy Pacha's village to build his pool house. But after spending most of the film as a llama and forced to work together with Pacha to get back to the palace, he undergoes CharacterDevelopment and learns to become a better ruler.

** [[AnIcePerson The Brain Freezer]] pulls a reasonable one as well after Johnny, Dukey, Susan, and Mary help him with his looks (and other issues) long enough for him to make the ice coffee cafe he's always wanted. He doesn't ''exactly'' become a good guy, but instead a ChaoticNeutral that competes with Johnny rather than be a direct antagonist in later episodes.

* The Lizard King in ''WesternAnimation/ThreeTwoOnePenguins'' reforms after hearing Michelle's speech on playing by the rules.
* Breezy in ''WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog'' starts out as one of Robotnik's agents and pretends she's in love with Sonic and sends him to all kinds of dangerous places(to keep him busy while Robotnik carries out his evil plan of the week), but she ends up falling for him for real after he gets her some gifts that she didn't ask for(a locket and a poem) and she's so touched that she saves Sonic from the trap that Scratch and Grounder caught him in and defects from Robotnik.
* In ''WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfSuperMarioBros3'', this happens to two one-shot characters. King Windbag went from a ruthless bully to a benevolent ruler and Crimewave Clyde renounced his criminal ways (though he graciously returned to prison, not wanting to spend another second with the Koopas).
* Rose in ''WesternAnimation/AmericanDragonJakeLong''.

* In ''WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse'' we have Chandler. A character who acted as an antagonist in his debut episode, manipulating Lincoln and Clyde to give him stuff to invite them to his party. In his second appearance, he mocked the duo about a haunted house. [[LaserGuidedKarma Later, he's the one to get scared]], but Lincoln and Clyde promise not to tell the rest of the school, and he shows a change of heart by inviting Lincoln and Clyde to hang out with him and his friends.
* Most characters from ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' have these, especially after the second season:
** Sunset Shimmer had enjoyed a purification -- and, after her role in the second spinoff movie, with such enthusiasm.
** Princess Luna, purified by the Elements of Harmony, returned to goodness and became a fan favorite to boot.
** Trixie Lulamoon, a wandering stage magician, was humiliated in Season 1 when some of her fans put her false claims of magical powers to the test; Twilight Sparkle, heroine of the show, managed to solve the problem that these fans had created. Two seasons later, [[TheBusCameBack Trixie returned]], now wielding an evil magical artifact; Twilight managed to teach her a lesson once again, and Trixie left on semi-good terms... although the nature of her apology suggests that she's not quite one of the good guys yet. Trixie's turn finally solidifies in Season 6 when she finally gets a real friend in the form of Starlight Glimmer, another unicorn in the middle of her own HeelFaceTurn, and nearly loses it because of her petty desire to one up Twilight. At the start of Season 7, Trixie is now shown to be fully on the side of good.
** Silver Shill from the episode "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyfriendshipIsMagicS4E21LeapOfFaith Leap of Faith]]". As his name would imply, he acted as the shill for the [[SnakeOilSalesman Flim Flam Brothers]]' [[TheCon con]] before being inspired by Applejack to come clean.
** Princess Celestia tasked the main characters with reforming the spirit of chaos [[MadGod Discord]]. Much to everyone's surprise, even Discord's, they pulled it off -- although this is less of a reform and more of an easy truce. In the Season 4 finale, Discord is tempted by Lord Tirek into doing a FaceHeelTurn, but once again makes another HeelFaceTurn due to mixture of regret, being RewardedAsATraitorDeserves, and Twilight acknowledging him as a friend, which leads to Tirek's defeat.
** The Season 4 finale has another as part of the backstory, pulled off by Tirek's brother Scorpan, who turned on Tirek after making friends with the ponies, Star Swirl the Bearded in particular. [[spoiler: This is in itself a MythologyGag that alludes to the very first WesternAnimation/MyLittlePony episode ''ever'', ''[[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTVSpecials Rescue from Midnight Castle]]''. In the G1 pilot, Scorpan was Tirek's chief henchman yet [[MoralityPet cared about Spike and saved Megan's life]] before finally simply pulling off a HeelFaceTurn--the very first in the entire franchise]].
** Gilda, introduced as a complete {{Jerkass}} in "Griffon The Brush-Off", finally had one when she reappeared in "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone".
** [[AlphaBitch Diamond Tiara]] becomes friends with the Cutie Mark Crusaders in ''Crusaders of the Lost Mark''
** [[DarkMagicalGirl Starlight Glimmer]], from Season 5 becomes a SixthRanger for the Mane Six in the Season 5 Finale.
** Every Changeling who isn't [[RedemptionRejection Queen Chrysalis]] gets redeemed, at the end of Season 6.
** [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTheMovie2017 The movie]] includes [[TheArtfulDodger Capper]], [[PunchClockVillain Captain Celaeno]], [[BumblingSidekick Grubber]], and [[DarkActionGirl Tempest Shadow]]. [[spoiler: The only villain who never gets redeemed is the [[KilledOffForReal Storm King]].]]
* In ''WesternAnimation/NFLRushZoneGuardiansOfTheCore'', both guardians Ash and Ricky started off as agents for the current BigBad, only later joining the heroes when it they finally realize their mistakes and try to make up for them.
* Early in ''WesternAnimation/{{Ninjago}}'', Lloyd Garmadon, the son of malicious Lord Garmadon, tries his best to be a villain, but in hindsight, he's just a mischief-making little kid. After many mishaps and his worst mistake of all, releasing Pythor, Sensei Wu decides to put Lloyd back on track by treating him as if he were his own son. Lloyd drops the "bad guy" routine in a heartbeat, but still remains a troublesome prankster.

* Riven in ''WesternAnimation/WinxClub'' decided to side with the Trix after one too many arguments with the Winx and his fellow Specialists. He joins the heroes when the Trix reveal they were just using him.

* Elyon Brown in ''WesternAnimation/{{WITCH}}'', again following a FaceHeelTurn. A number of minor villains in the second season do one as well after realizing that [[BrokenPedestal Phobos isn't as noble as they thought he was.]]

* Raimundo in ''WesternAnimation/XiaolinShowdown'', though that's after he did a FaceHeelTurn. He actually does suffer some consequences and trust issues afterwards because of it.
* Rogue in ''WesternAnimation/XMenEvolution''. The episode where she does this is one long [[Awesome/XMenEvolution Crowning Moment Of Awesome]] for her.
