* The ending of the Rook saga in general qualifies, and only becomes more so when subsequent books 'do not' make this harsher in hindsight. Twig suffered HappyEndingOverride almost immediately, and Quint's fate was a foregone conclusion. Rook's trilogy though? Most of the main characters live long and happy lives and die peacefully of old age. Rook himself only becomes an Immortal after outliving his friends and seeing his children grow up. And while Great Glade in The Immortals is far from a utopia, it is still better than Old Undertown ever was even after centuries. For once in the series the main cast earned their happy ending, and then got to keep it

*** Heck, just about any scene with Twig and Cloud Wolf qualifies as a [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming CMoH]].

* The ending of ''The Slaughterer's Quest''. When [[spoiler: Maris spoke for presumably the first time in ''forty years'' upon being united with her granddaughter]] it made for perhaps the most triumphant [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming CMoH]]/TearJerker in the entire series.

* The whole ending scene of Beyond The Deepwoods easily qualifies, but it's when Cloud Wolf says "I shall never abandon you again." and hugs Twig that the scene is really made.

*The fact that Twig never loses his woodtroll hairstyle. It would hardly have fitted in among sky pirates and undertowners, but he still keeps it, right to his death, [[FridgeBrilliance never ever forgetting where he came from]].
