-->Happy: I was thinking about Cala. About her being three, alone, with no family. Same as me when I was three. But then those people gave her a family. When I was a kid I wished every day for a family to adopt me. To make me theirs, and they could be mine. But that never happened. No one wanted me. Right now there is a kid somewhere wishing for a family. They could be ours. We could be theirs. I want to make our dream come true by making a kid's dream come true... . You cool with that?\\
Toby: In all my years here... all the thoughts and theories and plans that we've devised in this garage... that is the best idea I've ever heard.

* Before the multiple Tearjerker that is the final act, we're treated to a beautiful moment between Happy and Toby. It's been established that they're preparing to go through another round of fertility treatments, but during the episode Happy has an epiphany: there are plenty of parentless children out there, hoping for a family just like she used to, and she'd rather adopt one of them. Toby responds that, of all the crazy, awesome ideas he's heard in the garage, that's the best.

* The gang are trying to listen in on Cabe's trial when they happen across a police radio broadcast about a trapped dog, and promptly decide to help. As Walter and Happy rush off for equipment, Paige questions the wisdom of the plan, until Toby explains: they're scared and frustrated, unable to help Cabe, and saving the dog is something they can make better. His sheer joy and relief as he explains this is palpable.
-->Toby: We're getting that hound outta the ground!
** After they rescue the dog, Walter gives it a hug and thanks it "for being the thing we could fix today."
* The RunningGag of Paige defusing angry or uncooperative people by showing them pictures of the dog. The construction worker Happy and Toby stole materials from, Florence, and the agent who might replace Cabe all succumb to the big brown eyes.

* The gang meet Toby's ex-fiancée, Amy, and she's Happy's worst nightmare: charming, feminine, looks like a model. She's also a genuinely nice person, and quickly realises why Happy's so grouchy with her: seeing the woman Toby wanted first, she's decided she's his "consolation pick." Amy quickly relieves her of this notion, explaining that the glamorous honeymoon photos were staged, they went to that country because her husband had a conference there and he worked the whole time: she comes second to his work, just as she used to come second to Toby's gambling.
-->Happy: Toby doesn't gamble anymore.\\
Amy: He gave up? Why?\\
Happy: Because I'd have walked if he hadn't.\\
Amy: See? He wouldn't do that for a consolation pick.

* A terrorist hacks a weapons satellite, and then flushes the key fob that generates the passwords. Happy flushes the "Attaboy" keyring she gave Toby, so they can track its GPS chip and hopefully find the password fob. The "Attaboy" gets destroyed in the process, so at the end of the episode she presents Toby with a shiny new one.
** Why does the "Attaboy" have GPS? In case Toby gets kidnapped again. Mark Collins is at large and Happy's not taking any chances.

* After the group saves Happy's friend Ada (who has a severe immunodeficiency that could kill her if she so much as leaves her bubble without protection), they give her a set of goggles while Toby wears cameras, allowing her to feel like she's dancing at the high school dance with Sylvester.

* Veronica has been feeding Walter information designed to help him "win" Paige: her favourite childhood movie, that she used to like grunge, that she likes the scent of rosemary. At the end of the episode, Walter puts his foot down; he's not going to con Paige into choosing him, because if she found out she'd be hurt. Veronica says that makes her want to end up with her even more.
