* The SlapSlapKiss relationship of Sophia and Blake Nathaniel. A dialogue between Blake and Zoe has the two of them discuss the necklace. While Blake is worried Sophia might try to steal it, Zoe points out that Sophia doesn't want that. What she wants is for Blake to put it around her neck. 47 can use this as an assassination attempt, but for just a split second before he strangles her, Sophia has a serene smile around her neck as she admires herself.

* The titular "Nightcall": After sleeping for an hour, Alma wakes up and calls her sister Celia. It's revealed that Alma had a daughter with Sean Rose. The girl's name is Mercedes and she is living with Celia. Alma was calling to apologise for missing Mercedes's birthday, and laughs proudly when she learns that Mercedes got a part in her school play. The call shows a sweet, motherly side to Alma Reynard, far from the FauxAffablyEvil terrorist she was initially presented as. Overlaps with {{Tearjerker}}, as you still have to assassinate Alma before you leave the mission.

* While out on the balcony, Alma tells Orson that he will need to be present at an exchange with Kronstadt Industries in her place, as she is too valuable to lose if it happens to be a trap. He is initially upset, but accepts it, saying he just wants Alma to get safe. It's nice to see that despite all his whining and all the jabs Alma takes at him, Orson still cares about her.

Diana didn't learn it until Hitman 3, though she did forgive him there.

* In the end cutscene, the Constant tells Diana that 47 assassinated her parents when she was a child. This prompted fears amongst the fanbase that Diana was going to betray 47 and Grey and form an alliance with Providence or the Constant. Come the next briefing, the "Golden Handshake" mission, where Diana briefs 47 and Grey on Atheena Savalas. It's clear that years serving as 47's handler had made Diana loyal to him, enough to resist turning on him after learning that he killed her parents, and maybe enough to have forgiven him entirely. ''Perhaps.''

! Santa Fortuna
* The "Hero of Santa Fortuna" challenge, while very tedious to get through, leads to several heartwarming moments where you experience gratitude from both Delgados and Andrea Martinez for a job well done.
* When Andrea actually does give in and read the letter from Hector while on the balcony, she actually monologues about the good times the two spent together and it's clear that she still cares for him as much as he does. She just thinks them being together would prove too dangerous for her.

to:

** This is sort of mitigated in the mailman's case, however, as listening to him once he's finished with his rounds will reveal that he actually hates the residents of the suburb.

If it plays through and he wins, she will be a GracefulLoser and look forward to the next race.
