So, if he wins against her, he offers to help her search for her brother. He's the only one who does so when everyone else talk about something else about her.

* B. Jenet's ending deserves special mention for being the only character in the cast to ''succeed in changing Kain's mind'' with a rather simple, yet poignant philosophy. Kevin's final talk with Kain counts as well, as he just tells Kevin where Marky is with none of his usual misanthropic ad hominem remarks.

* SNK villains tend to be power-hungry, petty, greedy, and manipulative toward each other. The fact that Kain and Grant genuinely ''are'' [[VillainousFriendship longtime best friends and fiercely loyal to each other]] is a refreshing twist.

* Tizoc contemplates retiring from his luchador persona, but changes his mind when he hears a young fan gushing about him to his mother.
* Jae Hoon is pondering over what Kain said about justice, second guessing his own beliefs. Dong Hwan's more practical, laid back, and down-to-Earth attitude quickly snaps him out of it.
* B. Jenet wakes up after nearly dying in the collapse of Kain's palace. The only reason she's still alive his because her crew abandoned their plan to rob the place and focused on saving her instead. Honor and loyalty among thieves, indeed.
* Kevin panics when he thinks [[TagalongKid Marky]] might've been kidnapped, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone and then goes absolutely crazy when he thinks the boy died in the palace collapse.]] Terry calms him down by pointing out that Marky is sleeping in a tree just a few feet away from them.
