The way Todd cares about Archie is heartwarming. Then in the real world, when Archie confesses to sleeping with Todd's wife, Todd automatically forgives him without any hesitation. It's all especially ''nice'' when you consider what kinds of backgrounds they came from - Todd is introduced telling Archie that he needs to "become a better man", which is something it's easy to imagine Todd was told by his severely abusive father, but that he doesn't say to Archie with anything less than an encouraging, "stick up for yourself!" slant, and seems to treat Archie in a way that someone might ideally treat a son or younger brother; meanwhile, Archie makes it clear he has bonding and trust issues with regards to women that it wouldn't be a stretch to assume extends in some way to authority figures based on his... [[ParentalIncest really, really bad relationship with his mother]], and yet he ultimately mends any could-be cause for issue with Todd and seems to accept and appreciate his attempts at emotional and lifestyle support]].

* Erica has been highly praised in the real-life LGBT community for being a positively portrayed transwoman. However at the same time, she isn't a stranger to controversy.

** The trailers weren't lying this time; nearly ''everything'' involving Rin's storyline counts. After their CrashIntoHello which has Rin running away from his angelic big brother due to suffering amnesia, and Vincent protecting him, Vincent helps Rin get a job as the pianist at The Stray Sheep and a place to live. Rin isn't very good at first and is [[TheKlutz pretty awkward]], but the sweetness and positivity more than make up for it. Everyone is generally kind and supportive, especially Erica. This is goes even further if you go the romance route, which turns out to be a GayOption; Rin is from an AngelicAliens species whose human form is that of an androgynous male. Vincent predictably makes a few mistakes along the way, the worst of which is when he panics and slaps Rin's hand away after the UnsettlingGenderReveal. To his credit, Vincent ''immediately'' realizes what a stupid mistake that was; he tries to make amends quickly, and the worry and remorse he shows is genuine. That genuineness ends up being the deciding factor; ''When he's with Rin, he can be himself.'' Rin loves Vincent unconditionally, doesn't bow to the pressures of societal expectations, and unlike the other women, doesn't try to manipulate him or have their own agenda. What makes this especially heartwarming is that everyone aside from Catherine are totally on board with this even after Vincent inadvertently outs Rin's gender and his own bisexuality. Jonny angrily punches him for ditching Katherine, but accepts it when Vincent assures him he'll find a way to take responsibility for her pregnancy. Orlando is incredulous at first, but just sits back, sighs, and decides to roll with it. Erica is by far their biggest ShipperOnDeck for obvious reasons, and is eager to see how things will turn out between them. Even Katherine takes it in stride when she breaks up with Vincent. When she finds out about Rin's gender, she's surprised at first, and then says, "They must really be something special. Hah, I didn't stand a chance, huh?" and leaves with a smile on her face. In a game full of pettiness and relationship drama, that's one of the most mature, open-minded decisions.

** Even better, if you get the True Katherine ending, Vincent asks Katherine to come back to him after the earlier breakup, and at the same time proposes to her, saying he is nothing without her. Katherine accepts, and it skips to a few months to their wedding in the Stray Sheep. Orlando gets back with his wife, Toby seems to be weirded out that Erica [[{{Transgender}} was once known as Eric]] but Erica herself seems highly optimistic that he'll get over it and that there might be more on the horizon for them, Jonny decides to start looking for a soulmate, and everyone else is happy. The ending ends with Vincent and Katherine sharing a kiss and telling each other they love each other.

** [[ThePowerOfLove Vincent's love for Rin]] is taken to its absolute zenith in the finale, when it's revealed that Rin is actually an alien angel in human form, and his archangel brother is ''livid'' that he's fallen for some mere human. He demands Rin come back to space, but is denied. Furious at such an affront, Rin's brother forces Vincent into one final gauntlet, with Rin's life on Earth and ''the extinction of the human race'' at stake.Despite not truly comprehending the scale of what's happening, Vincent immediately, confidently takes on the challenge and pulls it off spectacularly, gaining some well-deserved respect and securing Rin's future with him. It's also revealed that Rin's piano playing has [[MagicMusic the ability to change people's prejudices and bloom new possibilities]], which gave Vincent and the other sheep the boost they needed in their climbs. In Rin's True Ending, Vincent and Rin get married and go on a music tour throughout outer space, with the former serving as the latter's producer.

* The New Catherine Ending in Full Body has a lot of nice moments: When Vincent first meets Catherine in the bar, Catherine seems genuinely remorseful for her role in the nightmares, she outright apologises and [[WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove admits she never expected to fall for Vincent like she has.]] Despite who Catherine is, Vincent does not seem to care and still wants to be with her only regretting that they could not have met earlier on in their lives. Catherine takes this opportunity to transport them both back in time to Vincent's high school days but she is now visible to everyone. They then begin dating in this new timeline from [[HighSchoolSweethearts high school all the way to getting married several years later. At the wedding, Vincent tells Catherine that the person he is now is because of her, choosing to be with her wasn't a mistake and he'll prove to the world that they are meant to be together with the rest of his life. Finally [[BabiesEverAfter Vincent and Catherine are shown to have 4 kids in the images after the credits.]]

Archie manages to move on from his trauma caused by his mom, and decides to start a normal family, while Todd stops being a womanizing {{Jerkass}} and goes back to his wife, not wanting to end up like his abusive dad. Abul decides to travel the world, while Roderick starts singing again.]] More prominent if you get them all in the same play through.
