* The ''Arkham Manor'' miniseries issue #4 has Mr. Freeze's new cell [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments (the walk-in freezer)]] broken. Since it's the middle of winter, he spends the rest of the series outside the manor playing in the snow because, as he sadly puts it, he doesn't have anywhere to go.
* A small one from issue 3 of the 'FACE THE ECAF' miniseries, after Arnold Wesker [[spoiler:has been fatally shot and lies dying]], Scarface yells at him to do something... so Wesker reaches out, and holds Scarface's hand.
* In Batman Annual #1 in the ''Rebirth'' volume, the first story details Bruce's relationship with Ace the dog. In this continuity, Ace was an attack dog owned by the Joker that tried to maul him. After Joker got bored with the "dogs named after a royal flush" gimmick, he left the dogs to starve, where Ace was the only survivor. Alfred, taking sympathy for the dog, especially after hearing how the animal shelter was going to put him down for being too far gone, adopts him. After spending months training him, and Ace and Bruce being acrimonious to each other, they eventually learn to love each other by Christmas, where Bruce thanks Alfred for the wonderful gift.

* One short in the ''Batman: No Man's Land'' arc, drawn in Franchise/{{DCAU}} style, has Batman and Batgirl (Cass) trailing a mob assassin carrying a "violin case" through the broken city. At one point, the guy is stopped by a gang, who asks him to "pay". Cass is ready to leap to their defense, but Batman stops her. The killer opens the violin case and takes out... a violin. The gang leader: "It's been seven months since the walls went up. Seven months since we've heard any real music. Play us something. A little 'Danny Boy', maybe?" The ReactionShot may be the best use of Cass' ExpressiveMask ever.

* A rather subtle one, but in ''Batman #104'' Batman acts as a conservationist. Bruce and Dick are invited to a scientific expedition to capture and study a giant, marine dinosaur that is a CaptainErsatz of ''Film/TheBeastFromTwentyThousandFathoms''. The Dynamic Duo agree to help, but quickly discover their is a plan to kill the creature. In a subversion of most stories of superheroes confronting big monsters, Bruce spends the rest of the issue thwarting ploys to kill what he clearly sees as not a monster but an endangered, if dangerous, animal. In the end the creature is safely captured to be kept safe in captivity, the crook is apprehended, and Batman stores the beast's egg inside a special incubator to keep it safe in the Batcave until it can hatch.

** ''Heartwarming/BatmanBlackAndWhite''

** Another one with Alan Scott - in ''Guardian'', part of the ''Batman: Black and White'' collection, Green Lantern meets Batman shortly after the events of ''Year One'', and though they clash, in the end the elder hero shows Batman why he stopped: his ring's power had been growing as his creativity increased, until he idly wondered if he could use his power to banish all evil. The very thought ''terrified'' him, understanding Gotham needed a guardian, not a god. A mellowed Batman accepts this, and after reminiscing about Gotham's golden past for one last time, they part as friends.

* One issue of the (dubiously canon) anthology series ''Batman: Black and White'' focuses on the gargoyles on Gotham's rooftops, where it's revealed that Bruce uses one gargoyle as a secret hiding place, holding spare costumes, equipment, civilian suits, etc. He calls it [[Franchise/{{Superman}} Clark]].

* In the final volume of the ''Black and White'' collection, ''"I'm Watching You"''. A janitor named David Thompson was the last to be caught in a crime bust and begged Batman for a second chance. Batman took his license and let him go. From then on, Thompson always felt Batman was watching. While going to bed with his cat, Thompson concludes that Batman had probably never checked on him again, but appreciates how the encounter had turned Thompson's life around. Batman, watching through binoculars, ticks his name off a mental list with a smile.
* Also in the ''Black and White'' collection, ''"Hide and Seek"'': Batman is investigating a train crash in the subway with Gordon, spots a shred of evidence, then rushes to track someone. Gordon and his crew initially assume Batman is looking for a villain, but it turns out a child was hit by the train and wandered off. The boy is dazed and frightened, but alive, and Batman carries him off to get medical attention.

* Believe it or not, as campy as the show could be, the 1960's live-action television series did manage to squeeze out this little gem. Upon escaping yet again from an over-the-top DeathTrap, Batman and Robin have this exchange:

-->'''Robin:''' Wow, Batman, I actually have to admit that for a moment, I really was scared. I really thought that was the end of us.\\
'''Batman:''' I was never scared, Robin.\\
'''Robin:''' ''Really?''\\
'''Batman:''' No, not once. [[LampshadeHanging Have you ever noticed, Robin, that no matter how many traps, no matter how many perilous situations our enemies put us in, we always manage to escape?]] Have you ever wondered why that is?\\
'''Robin:''' Because we're smarter than they are!\\
'''Batman:''' I prefer to believe it's because... our hearts are pure.
** As corny as that line is, Creator/AdamWest just says it in such an ''[[NarmCharm awwww]]'' inducing way.
** There's another in the same episode, and equally strange for [[CardCarryingVillain this version of her]], Catwoman listens with some sympathy to the current life of an armored car driver called Ralph whilst in disguise, and [[PetTheDog hands him $100 from her ill-gotten gains to help his burgeoning family]]. It's an unusual act of generosity for any arch-criminal in this series.
* At the end of each King Tut episode, there would be Professor [=McElroy=]'s timid confusion and regret as he revived from a bout as King Tut (as well as Batman's genuine sympathy for the good professor). Fans of the series often forget that Victor Buono was a talented dramatic actor as well as a comedic actor, and he usually put his dramatic prowess to use for those few moments as Professor [=McElroy=], all the more jarring for the contrast.
* In "Batman's Anniversary/A Riddling Controversy," Professor Charm gets three million dollars the Riddler steals from charities to develop research, angry that his past as a high school dropout prevents the Gotham Science Board from granting him membership. At the end of the story, Charm returns the cash to police headquarters, admitting he can't live with the guilt of taking money meant for starving children. He's stunned when Batman says that, thanks to Bruce Wayne, the Gotham Science Board will give Charm membership after he finishes his jail term.
-->'''Charm''': Remarkable man. Do you know who he is, under the mask?
-->'''Gordon''': To us, Professor, ''who'' he is is nowhere near as important as ''where'' he is. At all times.
** The episodes even help demonstrate the sheer love the people of Gotham hold for Batman, and vice versa. Gordon and O'Hara surprise Batman with an anniversary party. And the Caped Crusader is nearly in ''tears'' he's so touched. Even better, the party reveals that they've gathered ''$200,000'' to donate to Batman's favorite charity. And that's just the first Batman anniversary party that the Riddler chooses to steal from.
* Even though the series from the 60's was campy, it had a genuinely sweet moment. When a villainess (played by Creator/ZsaZsaGabor) assumed that Robin must be Batman's son, Batman stated that though Robin [[LikeASonToMe was not his son, he would be proud to call him such.]]
* "''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXvJnr97xLg they may be salvaged]]''". This line gives another reason for why Batman doesn't kill. It's not because he's afraid of JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope, It's not because he wants them to go to prison. It's because he hopes that they can reform.
* In the episode featuring Louie the Lilac (played by Creator/MiltonBerle), Batman and Robin come to sympathize with the [[NewAgeRetroHippie hippies]] who are camping out in Gotham Central Park. Considering a lot of mainstream television of the time took shots at hippies on a regular basis, having ''Batman'' of all shows be sympathetic to them means a lot.

-->'''Batman:''' Being a hero or a crime-fighter isn’t what counts the most, Andy. It’s being a good citizen. And if that’s what you meant, that is the highest compliment you could pay me.
* Once Adam West passed away, the show's batsymbol was projected on Los Angeles' city hall. Hundreds of people came to see this. Some have even started a petition to get a bronze statue of West's Batman erected on his birth town.
* In essence, Adam West's entire career could be one. He acted his heart out playing a beloved character on a wildly popular TV show in the 60s, but afterwards couldn't find work because people thought he was over-the-top, because of that very role he was so famous for. It wasn't until the 90s that he was able to get some recognition, from a tiny cameo role in an episode of 'Batman: The Animated Series', where people began to realise the difficulty he'd suffered from the role. Finally in the 2000s, 'Batman 66' became a thing, with DVD releases of the show and it's tie-in movie, action figures of the characters, even Lego sets and, subsequently, an entire portion of 'Lego Batman 3' being devoted to Adam West's version of the character. It took a while, but Adam West's Batman has gone on to become one of the most fondly remembered of all time

* Bruce, Vicki and Alfred sharing dinner in the kitchen, with Alfred finishing a story from Bruce's childhood. It's a shame we don't see more of that dinner in the film.

'''Alfred:''' I thought champagne would be in order, ma'am.\\
'''Vicki:''' Hi, Alfred.\\
'''Alfred:''' Mr. Wayne told me to tell you that he might be a little late.\\
'''Vicki:''' ''(smiling)'' I'm not a bit surprised.
* Alfred, though at the ready to assist Bruce with being Batman out of a strong loyalty to both him ''and'' his late parents, takes every effort to talk him out of carrying out his plans as Batman and try to convince him to lead a happier life.
-->'''Bruce:''' Something on your mind, Alfred?
-->'''Alfred:''' I have no wish to spend my few remaining years grieving for the loss of old friends. Or their sons.
* Throughout the whole movie, the police and City Hall have no faith in Batman, and see him as just as much a danger as the Joker. But at the end, after he's proven his worth, they hold a press conference where they officially clear his name and welcome his help in the future.
-->'''Harvey Dent:''' We received a letter from Batman. 'Citizens of Gotham, Gotham City has earned herself a rest from crime. But if the forces of evil should rise again, cast a shadow on the heart of the city. [[WhoYouGonnaCall Call me]].'
-->'''Knox:''' Excuse me. How do we call him?
-->'''Commissioner Gordon:''' He gave us a signal.

* A blink and you miss it moment, but after the Joker assassinates Benny in the film and drives away waving at a bewildered Bruce who'd last seen him drop into the chemical vat as Batman, Knox shouts for Bruce to get down so he wouldn't get shot in the gunfire. Knox may not like Bruce, but at least he isn't that much of a jerk to him.

* At the end of each King Tut episode, there would be Professor McElroy's timid confusion and regret as he revived from a bout as King Tut (as well as Batman's genuine sympathy for the good professor). Fans of the series often forget that Victor Buono was a talented dramatic actor as well as a comedic actor, and he usually put his dramatic prowess to use for those few moments as Professor McElroy, all the more jarring for the contrast.

** The episodes even help demonstrate the sheer love the people of Gotham hold for Batman, and vice versa. Gordon and O'Hara surprise Batman with an anniversary party. And the Caped Crusader in nearly in ''tears'' he's so touched. Even better, the party reveals that they've gathered ''$200,000'' to donate to Batman's favorite charity. And that's just the first Batman anniversary party that the Riddler chooses to steal from.
* Even though the series from the 60's was campy, it had a genuinely sweet moment. When a villainess (played by Zsa Zsa Gabor) assumed that Robin must be Batman's son, Batman stated that though Robin [[LikeASonToMe was not his son, he would be proud to call him such.]]
