* So...does this sum up the series? [[spoiler: So the Operator was tied to/'infected' Tim from childhood for...some reason, then he went away for a while, then Tim auditioned for Marble Hornets, which for some reason woke the Operator back up, who then started stalking the crew, which drove Alex nuts and made him destroy the tapes, except he gave a bunch of them to Jay for some reason, which drew him into this mess, and then there was a whole big mess with Jay and the Marble Hornets crew and the Operator screwing with all sorts of stuff, and when it was all over most of them were dead and there was no purpose behind anything beyond 'This crazy entity be mean, yo'?]] Because even with the whole 'true horror means not knowing every detail' factor, that's kind of lame.

* I'm sure we're all thinking this, but [[spoiler: how long has Tim known Jessica was still alive? Judging by their conversation, it seems like it was a while. And if he's known since before Jay went rogue, why didn't he tell him?]]

* If Alex [[spoiler:believes that knowing about the whole Operator business propagates the mayhem, shouldn't he realize it's too late for damage control?]] He does know that Jay has been plastering all his findings on the Internet, after all. Half the world has become aware of it by now.

** It's a possibility that the lighter fluid that Alex was pouring was water and they only set the last room on fire for real. Even then, Tim quickly turned and ran so they could have put the fire out without it spreading too much. After all, they wouldn't go setting a house on fire without any way of very quickly putting it out. As for the fire alarm, they could have just added the sound in during editing. Finally, and this one is an entire shot in the dark, they could have just recorded a previous arson incident and used the footage to tie into their own story.

* Another meta entry, but #85 has got me wondering - how did they set up to record the news footage of Jay's apartment and now Tim's house to burn down? This time we see firsthand that Alex pours starter fluid everywhere and gets a really good inferno going. Even as Tim runs away we hear the smoke detector going off - did the house actually burn down?

** I feel the same way, [[spoiler: Hoody is too good of a [[TheChessmaster Chessmaster]] to just die like that.]] And if they really did decide to pull a stunt like that, then I'll be pretty disappointed.

** Can't remember exactly, but there have definitely been clues regarding something being off about him. He starts freaking out when J mentions Marble Hornets, he displays the ominous cough & feeling of coldness(aka some degree of Slenderman influence) and is shown to be taking some pills that later ended up in the house where Masky was. If anything, I'd complain that revealing that Masky was actually [[spoiler:in-universe Tim]] as opposed to just being portrayed by the same actor was a bit predictable and took a bit away from the sense of mystery regarding the masked figure, but it's only been one entry and I'll retract all my complaints if they use Insane/Possesed/Whatever [[spoiler:Tim]] as Mr.Exposition who'll expand(or really, establish) the mythos.

*** I think the issue isn't that they're the only guests at the hotel (maybe it's just a small hotel in a town that doesn't get many tourists), but that in the context of them being the only guests, they have adjoining rooms (Jessica mentions when they discuss the creepyness of their situation "...and we have adjoining rooms"). The creepyness comes from the fact that [[spoiler: they aren't aware that they know each other, which having adjoining rooms when they have the whole hotel to themselves would imply.]] It's unlikely that the hotel staff would know anything [[spoiler: except that they checked in together, although without hindsight he wouldn't think to ask about that]].

* In entry #83 did Tim [[spoiler: kill Hoody with the pipe he picked up or did Hoody jump from the ledge in a desperate attempt to escape?]] The camera perspective made it look like Tim missed entirely.

** While they have indicated they've planned a lot of the main story since Season 2 started, they've also made it clear that they are in touch with Jessica's actress and she is easily available to them when they need her to appear, so the fact that they were able to get her back when it was always pretty clear that her character would need to return one day isn't really all that surprising. Troy's recent blog post about the filming of 76 would indicate that it was shot recently, not years ago.

* This might be too Meta, but does anyone know if the tape for Entry #76 was shot at the same time as the original hotel footage, or was it footage filmed recently? Either way, it's impressive, as they either planned the story out ''years'' in advance, or were able to get Jessica (the actress) to return several years later to film the part again.

** Could be he just didn't want to be on the recieving end of Alex bitching about someone turning off the camera again.

** He was friends with Alex for a while before any of this happened, so he may have known that Alex likes to keep his spare key near the door. And being that he didn't find anything on the current B&E attempt, he thought he might use it for more snooping later. Probably just a split-second decision.

** Jay often does things without thinking them all the way through i.e. breaking into Alex's apartment with a 2-minute window to hunt for anything. Odds are he saw the key and grabbed it, not knowing what it was for but likely having a gut feeling that he would need it later.

** Jay asks him about it when he and Alex are headed into the woods in one entry and Alex says it's camera stuff. Jay later steals it from Alex's car and finds tapes and a hard drive. This is the hard drive he mentions finding in the safe in the hotel.
