** (S)he's pretty, shy, gentle and kind, hard-working, honest, has saved their lives on several occasions, and even though Natsuru is quite dense, provided it isn't an act, cares for their happiness and well being far more than his/her own life. It would be weird if they didn't like Natsuru.

* Natsuru (as a female) can jump super-high, shoot fireballs and has some SuperStrength, but can't break out of bondage made of plastic ribbons???

* What do all these girls see in Natsuru that make them so attracted to him? Aside from looks, he's a total moron. Is he just that pretty?

** It's not exactly their "alternate personae", but rather what they are inside. Natsuru's case is pretty weird because his gender has to change, but all of them could be like their transformed versions if they wanted. Case in point, Akane has problems with her shyness and lack of courage, therefore her transformed version is not shy at all, and using rough language to show that she has the courage to do it; Natsuru's other self is pretty much the same as him; Shizuku is collected all the time naturally, so her other self did not change much; Mikoto also didn't change, other than her appearance.

I must have been tired when answering it originally; removing the typos now

* About the bracelets and alternate personas created therefrom, is there anything in the manga/light novels that specifies on what happens to them when the war ends? The anime stopped at a point which the war was far from over, and with no after-endgame notes for that. Also, there's the matter of the activity of the dolls and the powers bestowed and a lot of other things, like the durability of the bracelet and the possibilities of it breaking in mode-lock. Is there anything in the material to shine some light on any of this?

* Why did it take 9-10 episodes for the plot to take off even though the anime revealed just about everything the manga was keeping secret, not like it was gonna affect the FanService. And does Natsuru have to be that damned dense?
** I guess they wanted to pad it with Filler to fill in the twelve episodes. As for the reason Natsuru is an IdiotHero, the show is basically invoking the RuleOfFunny so that HilarityEnsues.
** The anime leaves a lot stuff from the manga and light novels. Stuff like, character development and more morbid side of the Kampfer wars.
*** and something vaguely approaching a storyline.
* What the hell was up with that season finale? It looked like the story was about to start moving, but we're stuck with this gushing yuri daydream without nearly enough FanService. Where's the panty-fighting action we were promised? Or at least the humor? This show is already a guilty pleasure, but that weak-ass letdown has made me deeply ashamed to have followed the it this far.
** If I had to guess, I'd say it wasn't doing too well due to vast inferiority of plot and characterization to the other forms on other media, and they were mercy killing it without putting all that much effort into it since it'd be panned no matter what they did. Then again, I haven't seen the statistics of popularity, so its just a theory.
*** If that was the case though, why are they making another season of it!?
*** Obviously so that people would be pissed off enough to remember to watch the next season.
