Tropers: Kazeto
Kazeto, a Leo according to western horoscope and a Dragon according to Chinese horoscope (not that he believes in such vague things, but it's a rather amusing combination for him), living somewhere in Europe (he doesn't feel the need to share this information with everyone, and those who want it won't have any troubles finding it). In some places also known as "YamiheKazeto", for the sake of viewer confusion (not that anyone cares about that).

An amateur author, and a fan of music (also Japanese and sometimes western animation and comics, but mostly music), and an avid reader. Uses English most of the time, unless dealing with people (as English is not the official language in the country of his origin), but knows how to communicate in a few other languages if he has to.

Tropes associated with this troper include, but are probably not limited to (as memory is a fickle mistress) these:

  • Unaccustomed As He Is To Public Speaking: When he doesn't want to speak and doesn't even care about the topic he is supposed to speak about. Or any time when he is supposed to deliver a speech in his native tongue. When he really tries (which is not often), he can be quite charismatic.
  • Becoming the Mask: He had developed genuine reactions to a few names different from his usual one, and a few behavioural patterns matching them, each of them used for a different task. The one thing that stops him from Becoming the Mask fully is that he learned to switch them at will, but it was quite a problem for him before he did.
  • Berserk Button: Quite a few, though he won't share them with others. Stomping on one hard enough usually causes him to go into Tranquil Fury.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: In general, other than the rare moments when he is really obstinate on doing something. Reconstructed when he is at work, as his laziness led him to creation of a few shortcuts that made his co-workers' job slightly easier.
  • Busman's Vocabulary: He slips with highly-technical words on occasions. Very rarely, though.
  • Can't Hold His Liquor: Averted, pretty extremely. He doesn't demonstrate it very often, though.
  • Challenge Gamer: When he has time to play games, he is this. He doesn't impose challenges on himself often, though.
  • Deadpan Snarker: When asked for advice.
  • Determinator: Out of pure spite, when people expect him to give up.
  • Foreign Language Tirade: Happens sometimes, when he gets fed of people asking him about something and not listening. In English. *Beat* Some people learned to listen to him when they are supposed to because of that.
  • Good Colors, Evil Colors: He prefers black. You can decide what it means.
  • Grey and Gray Morality: In his opinion, black and white are merely very dark and bright versions of grey.
  • He Is Not Left Handed: He actually is left-handed, but prefers to fight with his right side. His right side is slightly stronger, and the left one much faster, but having gotten used to mostly using his right side, he prefers comfortability over effectiveness most of the time.
  • Love Triangle: Part of a type 4 in the past, then type 5, and then type 11. And it's rather tiring for him, both physically and mentally.
  • Nerds Are Virgins: Subverted. If you count him as a nerd, that is.
  • Obfuscating Disability: A minor one, as he wears glasses. His eyesight with one eye is nearly perfect, however, so he doesn't need them at all to function.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: With his fighting ability (appearing completely non-existent) and language proficiencies (likewise). It led to a few Bilingual Backfires and one Curb-Stomp Battle against a wannabe mugger.
  • One of Us: In a way, yes.
  • Seen It Quite Often: People dying. Because of illnesses, accidents, or out of old age.
  • Sophisticated as Hell: Some of his Foreign Language Tirades. Sometimes with Foreign Cuss Words*, which doesn't make them any better.
  • Stepford Smiler: He does that for a living. It's also his general attitude towards people he doesn't know (unless it's work-related).
  • The Stoic: His attitude when amongst friends, and when meeting with people for work-related purposes.
  • Tranquil Fury: After he gets sufficiently angry in combat, he closes all of his emotions. There is no point in feeling anything if he is going to hurt someone badly, after all.
  • True Neutral: He judges humans with the value they present to the world, no matter their intention or way of achieving it. And when he acts, he does it on logic.
  • Weak, but Skilled: A minor example, as he isn't exactly weak now (though he isn't strong, either), but he learned Tai Chi for a short while. As well as sword-fighting. And archery. None of these on the level that would allow him to go against a professional, but it does increase survival rate in a fight*
  • What He Is In The Dark: A logically acting human; exact results will be left in the dark.
