** Diary holders whose diary got damaged will be absorbed into void, then disappeared and were eliminated from the game, not leaving behind any corpse. That's the reason Takao Hiyama was categorized as a missing person forever except by those who knew his true identity as the Third diary user.

*** The reason Yuno wanted Yuki to kill her was because she killed ''him'' in the first world, and felt she deserved a KarmicDeath [[PleaseKillMe at his hands]]. If you're willing to go with the idea that she's played the Survival Game ''multiple'' times (considering she seems to have a premonition of the other owners' death traps that would've required, say, DeliberatelyTriggeringTheTrap to know), then that means she's killed Yuki ''several'' times over in different worlds. That would '''''really''''' make her want to be killed by him, considering [[{{Yandere}} how much she goes nuts when anyone else threatens Yuki]], [[ItsAllMyFault she'd be drowning in a lot of self-loathing]]. She literally did kill herself at one point too...

** Yes, all very improbable breaks from reality. One would almost need a [[IncrediblyLamePun Deus Ex Machina]] to explain things.

** ObliviousToLove cranked UpToEleven, perhaps? Yuki seems to be pretty much coasting through life prior to the plot hitting; sure, he people-watches, but assumes he's too dull and uninteresting for anyone to be returning the favor. Plus, [[RuleOfScary Rule Of]] ParanoiaFuel probably applies...

** Deus has made clear in the early part of the story, when a diary user's identity gets discovered by other users, they will possibly be targeted and DEAD end signal will appear on their diary. When that happens, their chance of surviving becomes slimmer than before. In the anime version, Deus pushes this issue even further, by encouraging diary users who has DEAD END signal to stand up for themselves and fight back for their survival. Especially so after Yuki shows everyone that it is actually possible to eliminate the aggressor who is heavily armored and carrying a murder weapon.

* How did Yuno get away with pretending her parents were alive and well for a whole year? Even assuming that her parents had no friends or relatives of their own, her father was a workaholic at a prestigious bank--someone would have come around to their house looking for him, right? What about the bills and taxes they'd have to pay? I guess parent-teacher conferences don't exist either...

** Partially anime logic. But on real world logic notes. Yuno could have sent an email of some sort explaining he was taking time off to spend with family or that he had gone off on a vacation on a cruise or to another country, leaving someone else in charge in his "absence". Bills and taxes wouldnt have been an issue if they were using direct deposits/automatic payment methods for bills and the family taxes were taken care of by an outside tax filer. As long as the bank kept bringing in money to the family there would be enough in the accounts that no payments would be missed. And keep in mind this is a Japanese school. Students are expected to be fairly self sufficient, and parent teacher conferences really arent much of a thing except in cases of a student getting in trouble. And since Yuno was an apparently popular, straight A student with no apparent issues since no one knew about her stalking Yuki, the teacher would have no reason to call her parents in for anything. In any case, email again would suffice if the parents did need to be communicated with. With Yuno, again, pretending to be her parents. Along with Yuno potentially forging their signatures on anything that needed such

** Akise's couldn't kill Yuno at that moment because he was afraid that it would hurt Yuki (iirc Yuno says "what will Yuki think?") I think he wanted Yuno to die ''after'' Yuki realized that she betrayed him, so that he would understand Akise is on his side. It's a little stupid, but Akise admits in the same episode that he should have killed her then. His love for Yukiteru just made him dumb.

** Mur Mur oversaw the game in place of Deus, and [[spoiler:even if she wasn't secretly working for Yuno]], she's still be bound by his rules (and {{Power Limiter}}s) to make sure the game follows the rules.
