Theon uses the momentary distraction to gain the upper hand. ** In the series 5 episode "Demons and Angels". While Lister is being remote controlled by the lows due to an implant in his spine, he attacks his crewmates. He strangles Cat for several seconds while Rimmer orders Kryten to blow his kneecaps off. Because Kryten is paralysed with indecision, the Cat decides there is only one way to stop Lister. With a hearty, meaty THWACK, Lister's eyes bulge, his mouth goes slack, and he releases the Cat.
