He also has emerald-green eyes.

* Judge Claude Frollo from ''WesternAnimation/TheHunchbackOfNotreDame'' just like in the book invokes this when he discovers Quasimodo has been protecting Esmeralda and has relationship with her, Frollo's lust for her is so great he's literally jealous of his adopted son. Ironically despite his rage at Quasimodo for "falling under the gypsy's spell" (like him) Frollo doesn't any moment of jealously towards Phobeus her actual LoveInterest, unlike the book where he almost killed Phoebus upon seeing him about to have sex with Esmeralda.

* Somewhat averted in ''WesternAnimation/{{Pinocchio}}'', as there were no jealous characters. As the puppet lies to the Blue Fairy about why he didn't go to school, he explains that "there were these two big monsters with big green eyes" that put him in a big sack and Jiminy Cricket in a little sack. All the while, of course, his nose grows.

* ''Disney/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs'': The Evil Queen's entire motivation is jealousy of Snow White's beauty. She also literally has green eyes, as does her henchman the Huntsman.

* [[BigBad Scar]] from ''Disney/TheLionKing'' is a literal case: a ferocious lion with bright green eyes, [[CainAndAbel murderously]] jealous of his brother [[KingOfBeasts Mufasa]].

All of the gods are not happy at his appearance at Hercules's birthday, and even his lame pun is met with scowls. But when Zeus makes a similar lame joke about Hades' workaholic nature, the ''entire'' pantheon bursts into laughter, and this causes him to find a way to overthrow his brother and become the king of Olympus.
* ''Disney/{{Cinderella}}'': The reason why [[WickedStepmother Lady Tremaine]] abuses Cinderella is that she's "bitterly jealous of Cinderella's charm and beauty." * Salieri, in ''{{Amadeus}}'', was insanely envious of Mozart's God-given musical talents.
* In ''{{Se7en}}'', [[spoiler:the serial killer says he killed Mrs. Mills]] out of envy. Given his agenda, he may have exaggerated his envy just for that purpose.
* Commodus from ''Film/{{Gladiator}}'' had some intense jealousy issues, mainly because his sister didn't like him [[BrotherSisterIncest that way]], and because another man was chosen to succeed his father.
* ''EasternPromises'': Kirill both admires and resents Nikolai for being a good deal more capable than himself; flares into fully-fledged jealousy when Kirill's father seems to prefer Nikolai.

* ''Film/ScottPilgrimVsTheWorld'' shows this in [[VisualPun a literal sense]]: Scott's jealousy over seeing Ramona with her latest ex fuels him to summon a huge Green-Eyed Monster [[ThePowerOfRock with his music]]. His eyes also turn green very briefly during this sequence.
* In ''Film/TheSocialNetwork'', Mark is shown to be jealous of his friend Eduardo for securing a place in in the Phoenix Club and Eduardo's laywer suggests this might have been part of the reason he cut Eduardo out of the company.
* ''Film/BicentennialMan'' shows one of the few thing-human-human cases of Green-Eyed Monster. Andrew, an android, sees Portia about to marry someone else, a person who has a very prominent chin, which Andrew constantly makes fun of behind his back, to Portia of all people.
* The entire plot of ''Film/TheAwfulTruth'' is kicked off by and runs on this.
* Even though he's wealthy like Tony, Justin Hammer definitly envies Tony's talent and success. His technology throughout ''Film/IronMan2'' is described as a joke and a failed knock-off of Stark's. His jealousy is even shown when he's talking to Stark or mentioning him. Heck most of his motivation in the film is to upstage Stark.
* Margot in ''Film/AllAboutEve'' is ''very'' insecure about her relationship with Bill and sees even Eve's most innocent behaviour as an attempt to steal him away. [[spoiler:It turns out she's [[ProperlyParanoid right!]]]]
