Serge denies being a SerialKiller while Coleman notes that the stats the authorities have released say he is the eleventh highest body count of any active killer in the country and recently passed the body count of Jeffrey Dahmer before asking what sexual dysfunction means, as Serge bitterly curses Mahoney. * In ''Atomic Lobster'':

** Jim and his wife Martha charter a plane to join the MileHighClub but have to listen to Serge and Rachael having loud and rough sex in the cabin next door while dressed as Batman and Catwoman, and Serge keeps audibly mentioning how Jim talked about his own bad sex life when he and Serge were in the same support group. Martha tries to start copying Rachael's lines to engage in foreplay with a flustered Jim, only to be humiliatingly distracted when Serge and Rachael start loudly roleplaying as exaggerated versions of the Davenports. Martha wonders if things could possibly get more humiliating, [[TemptingFate only for Serge to ask the Davenports if he and Rachael can borrow a vibrator that he overheard Jim and Martha unsuccessfully trying to use a few minutes earlier]].

The culmination of these scenes comes when one BigBadWannabe shows up after being absent for several chapters and fumes about his humiliating and financially-devastating fall from grace. The reveal of how desperate this once arrogant crook has become comes when he "[[TakeThisJobAndShoveIt [flings] a cardboard sign into traffic and began tearing off his green Statue of Liberty costume. He stomped on the pointy felt hat.]]".

** A police official discussing Serge's creative murder of two Neo-Nazis and the video showing the murder that Serge posted on [=YouTube=] says that people who saw the video but don't have any pertinent information for the case should "stop calling us and laughing."

* In ''Shark Skin Suite'', the prologue shows Serge bragging about how something he wrote (an Amazon review of duct tape) finally got published for the world to see. Coleman points out that technically, a newspaper already published a manifesto Serge wrote.
