* King Lizard attempts to monologue to Rex after he miraculously manages to get to his feet, only for a quick cut to Rex's pov to reveal he casn barely hear the smug bastard, y'know because of the deafening gunshot and head trauma from said gunshot.

* When Allen wakes up the first thing he comments on is how ripped he is now, inducing a brief verbal {{Beat}} from the composed [[TheComicallySerious Thaddeus.]]
* Thaddeus' way of revealing his deepest secret. He tears his beard off, leaving behind a perfectly trimmed mustache, which Allen immediately realizes marks him as a Viltrumite.

* During Allen The Alien and The Immortal's scuffle what gets the biggest reaction out of Allen is when The Immortal pokes him in the eye.
* Allen calls The Immortal a douchebag twice and each time he checks with Mark afterwards if it was an expressions humans had since he was going to keep using it.
* Mark and Allen go to Mark's dorm room and to keep things private, Mark puts a sock on the door. This signal of 'leave me alone, having sex' is apparently universal as Allen recognises it.
* After Allen leaves, William hammers on the door asking to be let and asks if Mark and Amber are done, apparently being under the impression that they've genuinely been in there having sex ''for hours''.

* Cecil cuts off the build up of Shapesmith's dramatic, ''long winded'' confession to the Guardians about being a Martian, stating that they all ''long'' knew that and that he wouldn't of let him join the team without knowing his background.

** The very fact that this threat with such unlimited power who requires so many heroes being gathering to fight him is given the reverence of being a CutawayGag. The Immortal sounds much more annoyed by this guy than defiant or tense.

** Mark insist that he and Eve are JustFriends which William points saying decreases the chance of him dating her. The fact she ''already'' has a boyfriend? He just proves that he's better and replace him, [[InsaneTrollLogic that's just how dating works]].

* Debbie shows zero reaction to Nolan getting trapped in an alien dimension, acting mildly disappointed that he'll be late for dinner, compared to Mark's genuine panic. She then reassures Mark that he's "explaining nicely" why the Flaxxans should leave them alone. [[IronicEchoCut Cut to Omni-Man murdering the entire planet]] back to the stone age, returning home and casually walking into the house with a beard.
