* You can kill the BonusBoss Rawr and use his hand to make a [[InfinityPlusOneSword Deathclaw Gauntlet]] ([[InfinityMinusOneSword which might be less useful than in Fallout 3 if you have the Piercing Strike perk]]), and is rightly called "Fist of Rawr". But with Wild Wasteland, it becomes the [[Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar "Fist of the North Rawr"]].

** There's also the fact that depending on what point in the story you take the quest, you may be wearing gear with a DT of at least 20 (or even a power armor), using a weapon that kills in one or two hits at most enemies and be accompanied by a nightkin, and/or an updated Ed-Ed. Even if the guy doesn't know about the Courier's fame, it's clear that s/he's not the type of person who needs protection.

* If you side with House and killed President Kimball, he would ask you why you did it. If you said that he tried to make you pay taxes, House surprisingly takes it well by simply saying "Understandable."

* The Think Tank in general. The leader is a LargeHam with a [[NoIndoorVoice booming announcer-style voice]]; there's a [[WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers Dr. Venture]] {{Expy}} with low self-esteem; a HotScientist with a sultry voice and a thing for humans; a tattletale TeachersPet, [[RedScare Communist]]-obsessed victim of childhood bullying; and an [[TheUnintelligible unintelligible]] brain that has a thing for sound-based items. Every line out of any or all of them is pure gold.

** Amusing in and of itself, merely being able to think up the "put a slash through the zero" solution requires ''an Intelligence check of 9,'' and both Doctor 0 and Klein think it's absolutely genius. Doctor 0's reaction to the idea is a FlatWhat, as if he's dumbfounded at the simple solution you've proposed.

* One of the unique [=NPCs=] you can meet around Westside is a Super Mutant. While his story isn't particularly funny, being a victim of torture up to and including having his tongue cut out, he's still up and kicking because he's a mean son of a bitch. [[AwesomeMcCoolName As in literally first name "Mean", Last name "Sonofabitch."]]

* Both Vault 34 and Vault 21 seemed to be set up to fail, but are inexplicably some of the most successful vaults in existence. The former had the populace insanely armed to the teeth even without considering they're all supposed to be locked inside a bunker for generations. It only failed due to unrelated reactor problems caused by one of their technicians more or less going insane and is still survived by the breakaway faction the Boomers. Vault 21 was filled with the most gambling addicted people they could find and instructed to build a society of games of chance. It survived for over 200 years despite being predicted to fail in two weeks and was only disbanded by Mr. House after he won the Vault in whats implied to be a rigged game.

* Even for a game as [[GoodBadBug notoriously]] [[GameBreakingBug buggy]] as this one, occasionally some bugs happen without rhyme or explanation that nonetheless result in comical examples of ArtificialStupidity and/or TooDumbToLive. Occasionally, the NPC pathing goes a little off the rails, and you'll end up with wandering human [=NPCs=] idly walking straight off a cliff or getting caught up on a terrain object while goose-stepping in a fashion so exaggerated it's practically [[Series/MontyPythonsFlyingCircus straight out of the Ministry of Silly Walks]]. Then there's the weird NPC health issue which will sometimes cause unnamed, generic [=NPCs=] to spontaneously and inexplicably ''die'' in the middle of their travel route; in one instance combining both of these examples, a generic NPC mercenary guarding a traveling merchant walked off the road and off a short but harmless foot-high drop, which inexplicably caused her to scream loudly and die right on the spot.

He's also someone who can be affected by the Confirmed Bachelor perk.]] HilarityEnsues, especially since, thanks to economy of voice acting, he doesn't bat an eye when you declare "I is scientistic."

*** Even better: DummiedOut, sadly, but when you woke up, you and Cass would be married, in a ceremony conducted by The King, no less, with no memory of it whatsoever. Such a shame it was never added.

* If you sneak into Aurelius of Phoenix's office you'll find a Grognak comic, some toy cars, and a teddy bear, indicating that the gruff and serious centurion with his [[NiceHat incredibly spiffy helmet]] is secretly still a bit of a child. Just imagining him playing with those toys while wearing his giant helmet (like [[Film/{{Spaceballs}} Dark Helmet]]) is utterly ''hilarious.''
