* If the narrator of "The Loved Dead" was born in the late 19th century, then his great-great granduncle who was burned at the stake for [[{{Necromancy}} necromancy]] was born around the late 18th century. Because burning at the stake was never practiced in the United States of America, this implies a fairly recent foreign origin for at least one of his lineages; probably Iberian Hispanic (Spain or Portugal), as both Inquisition and ''autos-de-fe'' persisted there until the early 19th century.
