* A subtle bit of this occurs with ''Fanfic/TheOutside on Satsuki's end of being an IllGirl and agoraphobic. It's not said, at all, in the story that Satsuki's ever gone to a doctor since their father passed and the only time she does leave her house if when she gets sick, so one can ask if she doomed herself to a [[spoiler:shorter life expectancy]]. Tying into this, it begs the question if Ryuuko's encounters with the outside world might have exposed Satsuki to any pathogens her immune system couldn't fight off.

* In ''HarrysNewHome'', the fact that the older witches teach the younger girls how to perform a [[GroinAttack castrating curse]] as a rite of passage is FridgeHorror, and makes you wonder how many times it's used on poor, unsuspecting boys.

** StalkingIsLove and even LovingForce are certainly present in professional fiction, but they are hardly endemic, especially more recently. Fanfiction features it to the point where it may not even be remarked upon.

Rainbow Dash, her first victim, wanders in and asks if this means she'll be seeing "[[BabyTalk a new brudder or sister]]". It takes a few seconds and then it clicks. Fluttershy in this story sees destroying other ponies' minds as an act of kindness, since they're so ''happy'' when they think they're foals. Dash has clearly seen this happen multiple times before, despite her mind being chemically wedged at a stage where object permanence is still kind of tenuous. The implications as to how Fluttershy "thanked" Twilight and Zecora are... unpleasant, to say the least.

** The fact that [[spoiler: Luke/Dark Oak]] was willing to [[BodyHorror very painfully]] mutilate a ten year-old boy and turn him into a combat robot is scary enough, but Episode 71 reveals that Tsali has numerous memories stored in his systems, many of them taken from before he was roboticized. Including one ''during'' his robotization - Tsali was [[NightmareFuel awake and aware the entire time]].
** WordOfGod gives a very disturbing meta example of this. The author revealed that most of the ''Dark Chaos'' backstory happened in the canon ''SonicX'' too, but the show didn't turn out the same way thanks to some historical points of divergence and ForWantOfANail. Now stop and think about that for a second. The violent, grimdark, hopeless ''Dark Chaos'' universe? ''The canon Sonic X show could've very easily ended up like that''.

Now think about how young the Grand Highblood was [[http://hivefled.tumblr.com/post/54525350150/o-s-ell-it-was-so-long-ago-i-ardly-remember when they first met]]. Later confirmed that there was at least serious creepiness going on when he was around puberty. He seems remarkably happy about it.

Except...She specifically says that she will make sure he is "everything his father had not been," refers to Stein as her former lover who disappointed her, and also says that she'll raise their son to be completely devoted to her. ''What else is she planning to do to this kid when he gets older?'']]
