* Early in the ''Warcraft II'' campaigns, the mission briefing (both Human and Orc mission 4) tells you that constructing a foundry will unlock a new innovation: a transport ship that can ferry troops over water. At first this sounds silly, because a troop transport ship shouldn't be particularly remarkable. If you think about it some more however, this is a specialized landing craft akin to a WWII-era LST. It can drive onto a beach and unload troops and equipment, which is a considerable tactical advantage over a regular ship which needs to dock at a port. Considering this, the comments in the mission briefing actually are justified.

All Uther can do is delay the inevitable with Divine Shield and offensive Holy Lights, as this era predates Paladins taking more offensive roles and having a specialization for delivering the righteous Retribution needed for this situation.

* In the Stratholme level of W3, there is a brilliant race/boss battle(s). Typically, players will kill the enemy hero first because its the strongest enemy, but that tactic blows up in the player's face on the Stratholme level. Both sides are trying mercy kill/turn undead the villagers. Since every time you kill the boss, the resurrection timer starts and the boss respawns with a more powerful army. If you kill him first, that leaves you fighting his support troops and eats into his resurrection timer, leaving less time to mercy kill the villagers. Smart players will kill the boss last in the first few encounters, and only kill him first when its near the end of the race or its the only way to beat the enemy army.

Thus, he must have absorbed a portion of that which allows Wisps to Harvest Trees; the Wisps linked to it are now linked to him, to his very being... Then they Detonate.

It makes a little more sense when you consider that in ancient times, throwing plagued corpses over the walls at a city's defenders WAS a valid siege tactic, as an attempt to weaken or wipe out the defenders with plague. Still doesn't explain why it makes the buildings [[MadeOfExplodium explode]], though.
