Re-reading issue 37 the other day, i noticed that the character never referred to Xadhoom as dead. what if it's not just an ElephantInTheLivingRoom? What if, she's still alive in there, sustaining the sun, [[AndIMustScream every second of every day, never sleeping or resting, always expending her energy, forever, or until she dies, dooming the xerbians to freeze to death?]]

*** Confirmed: [[AllThereInTheManual Inserts in the second series]] mentions Xerba and Corona as former trading partners. She may have not recognized the shield and the Pkar (the latter actually being something Ducklair invented himself), but issue #1 implies she recognized Pk's spaceship as a Coronian model modified with a cold fusion reactor ''based on her own researches''. She was a little pissed when Uno declared it "Master Ducklair's masterpiece" and replied she knew something about it...

** Probably Xerbians haven't met Coronians yet. Plus, the third series (the Galaxy Guardians series) is not in the same continuity of the other two.

* Originally the Evronians were portraied as the undefeated galactic overlords (they even brag they never lost a war before arriving on Earth), and had no idea of who Xadhoom was (in issue 6 warriors of the Xerbian garrison, the first who ever encountered her, actually face her confidently. They don't survive the experience, but they expected to win). Then in issue 8 the Evronians know who Xadhoom is and have an Anti-Xadhoom Squadron (mentioned as a CoolAndUnusualPunishment that doubles as a death sentence), in issue 9 we learn the Evronian military had recently suffered terrifying defeats (what happened on Earth were at most skirmishes, given the numbers of troops involved), and in issue 10 we learn about rebellions in the Empire (Trauma is specifically sent on Earth to kill Paperinik, who was being used as a symbol by the rebels), rebellions that in issue 25 are shown having involved the ''Evronian home system'' itself. Also, the Imperial Council is originally mentioned in-story as the absolute authority in the Empire, but by the time we see them on the Imperial Worldship they're absolutely cowed by the Emperor, with no authority whatsoever (not even as rubbing stamp). Why all of this? Well, in issue 44 a survivor of the Imperial Council mentions they traveled since Xadhoom [[EarthShatteringKaboom destroyed their planet]]... It didn't click on me until now: sometime between issue 6 and 8, Xadhoom ''blew up Evron itself and killed the reigning Emperor''!!! Everything else happened to the Evronians is a consequence of this: most survivors of the Imperial Council, escaped with the Worldship, ruled the Empire as the few two-headed Evronians fought each other for the Imperial crown until Evron the Eleventh to the Fifth (yes, the Emperor's name is given as this) imposed his authority and mercilessly killed everyone who dared to challenge it, including council members; the Evronians learned Xadhoom's name and to fear her in that battle, and she mentioned Paperinik and Earth's ability to fight off an Evronian invasion to some group of rebels; the already existent group of rebels in the Empire pointed to Xadhoom and Paperinik as proof that Evron was not invincible, and actually won major engagements (the ultimate fate of the rebellion is not known, but given the losses against Xadhoom it's probable they won in the chaos that followed Xadhoom's ultimate victory); the feud between the Scientist and the Military Castes was started (or re-ignited) by the Soldiers' failure to protect Evron from Xadhoom, and ended when the new Emperor (who apparently supported the Military, given the Scientists have been shown having a secret leader when Xadhoom started blowing up the Imperial Worldship) took over.
