* For someone who doesn’t seem to care much about eco (not to mention the fact that he wouldn’t have listened to any of Samos’ lectures), Daxter is curiously knowledgeable about its effects in the first game. Given the third game revealed he effectively became a Precursor, he must have gained that knowledge when he transformed.

* Why are the Metal Heads less independent in ''Jak 3'' than in ''Jak 2''? While the Dark Makers are even worse than them, there is another reason. In the second game, their fabled leader dies, so they need new guidance, even at the cost of their autonomy.

** Also, the Metal Heads in general. They aren't just a threat to humans. They are to [[HeelFaceTurn the Lurkers]] and even the Precursors as well, and their leader praises the killing and devouring they do.

** Actually, the end of the second game states that Jak has learned to control the Dark Eco within him, and is no longer at risk of him dying or being driven insane from it (indicating he's immune to Dark Eco, similar to [[Franchise/KingdomHearts Riku]]). He gets Light Eco in the third game, and Jak states that the Dark Eco is now "out of reach", and he feels a lot better. But in the end, I can see that things will be bright after all: Yes, Jak loses his father and the throne, but [[EarnYourHappyEnding he still got himself a happy ending]]; the world is saved, Haven will soon be rebuilt, he and Keira eventually become official, and the worst that can happen now are attacks from freelance criminals such as Rayn. The theme of the trilogy is "hope", after all.

There probably isn't any kids around is cuz since you can attack and even kill the townsfolk [=NPCs=] Naughty Dog probably didn't settle well with the idea of Jak(the hero and protagonist)attacking children. The game would've ended up as M/18 rated if they actually put child abuse in it. So they just didn't make any child [=NPCs=] wandering around and Praxis having them in custody is just an excuse to why.

* Something that always bugged me is Dark Jak missing his signature horns in ''3''. But, if one thinks about all the Light Eco Jak had been exposed to balancing out the affects of the Dark Eco, then it makes perfect sense that he would physically be less "monstrous" as well!

* Though the scene still bothers me, I can take better comfort with the reveal of the Precursors in ''VideoGame/Jak3Wastelander'' [[spoiler: as Ottsels]] now. Their justification: it was foreshadowed few times throughout the game, explains why Daxter is the way he is, is an entirely funny scene, and importantly, remained unpredictable and surprising. I'll never fully accept it, but I can appreciate the creators wanting to do something different and succeeding admirably. - @/NeoYi

* In the first game, Jak is 15, and he does look to be a young teenager. Cut to him as a 17-year-old in ''II'', where he now looks about 25. Stress and the Dark Eco project accelerated his ageing.
* The separation of the quartet at the beginning of ''II'' only shows Jak and Daxter landing, at two years before Praxis' fall. It is implied that Samos and Keira were sent to different time periods in Haven City
** Keira could've been sent four years before the fall, making her being Samos' biological child more believable if she was 12 in the first game, and the time portal made her one year younger instead of three.
** Samos mentioned adding six rings to his log while waiting for Jak, implying he also entered Haven in a different time than his daughter and foster son.

Their justification: it was foreshadowed few times throughout the game, explains why Daxter is the way he is, is an entirely funny scene, and importantly, remained unpredictable and surprising. * In Jak 2, you never get to see any children in Haven city, that is, until you escort the kid to the Power Station. In the middle of the mission, you hear a radio message stating that the baron wants every kid to be arrested... You never know what happened to them because[[spoiler: THE BARON KILLED THEM ALL.]]
* The Abandoned Research rig in The Lost Frontier. The level is very dark and has signs of what looks like a struggle before being abandoned, and is populated with Mutants and failed test subjects. And then there's the flashback that Jak gets halfway through the level, when [[spoiler: he finds a chair similar to the one in Jak 2]]. The laser lab, which comes up next, is the same idea, but with creepy elevator music at the end. The Music doesn't help as well.
* More Fridge Tragedy if anything, but [[spoiler: Jak himself.]] (big spoilers for the whole trilogy) [[spoiler: He's never really had much of a choice in how he lives his life - he's basically a tool for other people, being ordered to do things, some of which involves risking his life (one of the people being Keira, his main love interest). ''Jak II'' reveals that a) he is royalty and b) he was only sent to the past in order to prepare to defeat Kor, and it also sees him being tortured for two years with Dark Eco which creates this monster inside of him. Erol - the very man who tortured him - seems to also have something going on with Keira, who refuses to listen to anything Jak says. ''Jak 3'' is even WORSE, starting off with him being kicked out of the city due to circumstances that were always beyond his control, Erol comes back to attempt to destroy him, finding out that his best friend is a god and having to accept that these three other ottsels are the all-powerful Precursors, thereby kicking his religion entirely in the face. Jak is also reunited with his father, Damas, who dies without ever knowing that his son is not only alive, but ''holding him in his arms as he dies'', and Jak also figures out that Damas is his father mere seconds after he dies. All his friends are spies or withholding information from him, which probably does nothing for his trust issues. Also, the Dark Eco in his veins is basically a ticking time bomb - it could kill him any second, or at the very least, drive him insane, with potentially disastrous consequences. On the bright side, he FINALLY gets a kiss! ...only it's with the daughter of the man who not only gave the order to torture Jak, but essentially demolished his family in the first place.]] This tropette would be surprised if [[spoiler: Jak lived to see much of his twenties.]]

** Really? [[spoiler:Praxis would probably imprison children, then release them back to their families (or have them put into military camps to be raised as soldiers) once it is confirmed they are not the prince he is looking for. He may be an iron-fisted dictator who committed regicide to come into power, but even he swoop to the lows of Herod the Great.

** Actually, [[spoiler:the end of the second game states that Jak has learned to control the Dark Eco within him, and is no longer at risk of him dying or being driven insane from it (indicating he's immune to Dark Eco, similar to [[Franchise/KingdomHearts Riku]]). He gets Light Eco in the third game, and Jak states that the Dark Eco is now "out of reach", and he feels a lot better]]. But in the end, I can see that things will be bright after all: [[spoiler:Yes, Jak loses his father and the throne, but [[EarnYourHappyEnding he still got himself a happy ending]]; the world is saved, Haven will soon be rebuilt, he and Keira eventually become official, and the worst that can happen now are attacks from freelance criminals such as Rayn. The theme of the trilogy is "hope", after all]].
