Need to add trope explaining this trivia in future. Also corrected some parts about Empty Man vs Between One, and added "separateness is an illusion" to cult's views.

Reverted most of my edits after realizing that this page needs a massive cleanup due to the lack of differentiation beteeen the Empty Man, The Other/Between One, and the Noosphere, as whoever created this page treats them as being one and the same.
I need to make much more extensive drafts in Word and watch the film a few more times (as I remembered that the film was unclear whether the corpse in the cave was The Between One or the previous Empty Man) Left a couple of Between One mentions, one Noosphere mention, and the changed from James to Lasombra for consistency/preventing confusion.

** We also learn from various cultists that essentially, The Pontifex Society [[spoiler:worships The Empty Man, a possessed host acting as an antenna for an Eldritch Abomination that will unite the Noosphere (the cult's term for the sum of all sentient minds) in chaotic nothingness after destroying our current "false" reality.]]
