* BadassBystander: When Angela is trying to reach law enforcement, she walks through a crowd of protesters opposing the city's draconian anti-homelessness policies. This allows Rivas and his goons to grab her and drag her into their van. Luckily, a group of protesters notice, pry her out, and give her time to escape. Then in a very revealing moment for his character, Rivas mutters over the phone to his cronies about how some people refuse to stay out of other people's business.
