''Haywire'' is a film directed by Creator/StevenSoderbergh.

Directed by Creator/StevenSoderbergh in his realistic mode, the film was well-received by critics but panned by general cinema-goers. It is a sparse, fast-moving action movie with no extra fat, realistic explosions and gunplay, and brutally convincing fight scenes, Carano excelling at her own stunts (and... competent in her acting). However, it has also been criticized for a convoluted plot, failure to wrap up several loose ends and some unnecessarily long, silent shots of doorways and such.

* NeverTrustATrailer: Both of them mismarketed the film as yet another action flick with spectacular set pieces and bombastic, gritty soundtrack, while it's a medium-paced spy thriller with soft, retro track straight from the 70's.
