When Cynical London Music Executive “Danny” joins a group of his colleges for a Bachelor weekend in the Small fishing Village of [[https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Isaac “Port Issac”]] while there his boss Troy decides to pull a prank on Danny by leaving him behind in the village and telling him that he needs to sign up a local group of fishermen who sing traditional Sea-Shanties known as the “Fisherman’s Friends”.

From there Danny struggles to gain the trust and acceptance of the unusual boy-band who will happily choose their community over becoming famous. While he begins to become enamoured with the small-town lifestyle, Community and Jim’s Daughter Alwyn.
