The child doesn't have any lines and only blinks. This didn't happen in the film.

* ActionFilmQuietDramaScene: Parodied, like everything else, when Black Dynamite gives us the least reverent and tasteful Vietnam War story ever, featuring a Vietnamese child who he repeatedly [[InterchangeableAsianCultures repeatedly refers to as Chinese]] and whose last words are actually telling him "[[BilingualBonus you're full of shit]]" in Vietnamese.

* NeckSnap: Parodied in the dojo training scene, where after Black Dynamite beats down a bunch of his trainees, he then stomps his foot on the neck of a downed opponent offscreen, with ''audible'' sound of breaking bones (said scene seems to be a ShoutOut to a moment in ''Film/EnterTheDragon'' when Bruce Lee steps on O'Hara's neck offscreen - even the camera angles are played the same way). But the following scene when a phone call from BD's mother interrupts his training, all the trainees, ''including'' the necksnap victim, are alive and well.

Per TRS, Aluminum Christmas Trees is YMMV. Removed the whole bullet point due to a combination of it being natter and the fact that Examples Are Not Arguable.

** Potentially a case of AluminumChristmasTrees, as the US military conducted multiple low-key or secret operations in countries outside of Vietnam, and the distance between Tainan to Ho Chi Minh City (in southern Vietnam) isn't much more than the distance between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi (in northern Vietnam).

** Black Dynamite himself is several blaxploitation stars rolled into one. His predilection for Kung Fu and {{Kiai}} screams is taken from Jim Kelly, his purpose as a ridiculously over-the-top womanizing badass and tough as snails detective has echoes of both Film/{{Dolemite}} and Film/{{Shaft}}. Him being "Played by former Football star Ferronte Jones" is a reference to Fred Williamson, a Blaxploitation star who likewise was a former Pro American Football athlete.
