Not only the Magix council grants our Dark Wizard a chance to live again amongst the mundane on Earth, he and Bloom actually had history and now the whole New Old Flame begins again. Since the story takes place in a publishing industry or the sort, we get to see some splendid, beautiful parallels of Bloom and Baltor in the fictional piece made by the devices of the latter's dreams or maybe inner wishes. It scares the crap out of Bloom obviously, before she gets the hang of it as she knows Baltor's really a Dead Man Walking. We get a Story Within A Story, and a wonderfully crafted one at that.

Exposed and vulnerable to her people's harsh prejudices, she'll go to great lengths to show herself as a worthy heiress. However, her hunger for power will lead her to sacrifice her morals and even her own sanity】. Thirdly and finally, I'm going to leave a little comment about this fic. You'd probably have noticed already who's this fic main character (Galatea, a minor Alfea fairy), but there's so much more. The plot follows Galatea as well as Bloom (kind of Chaotic Good here), Musa (as the anti villainess and antagonist), and Darcy (as the main villainess, kind of Lawful Evil). Each of them with their personal quest for power because of pretty intimate and relatable reasons. The author deconstructs each character, including the rest of the Winx girls and the Trix sisters in a truly appealing way. Though Musa and Galatea act kind of out of character. The former for a very good reason concerning her canon backstory, the later because of, well, I don't know. I guess it's difficult to tell since the series never gave Galatea a proper personality nor a defined backstory or motivations. This fic has the little flaw of throwing you a dense, surrealist narrative so it gets heavy to read sometimes. It still is highly recommendable though.
