This story maintains the dark feel of the original anime, and does a good job mirroring it despite its differences therefrom. ** An excellent look at how Kyouko and Sayaka, as well as the other Puellae Magi, might have interacted over a dozen timelines. Places more evidence on Kyouko's past than most fics, and really plays up the NotSoDifferent dynamic between her and Sayaka, given all of the different scenarios they are placed in. Doesn't really get serious with the shipping until the last few chapters. All of the characters are portrayed very believably and in-character. Definitely worth a read, especially for fans of either character or the ship itself.

** Also some stories about such women as [[Literature/AliceInWonderland Alice Liddel]] and [[KingArthur Nimue]]. All the chapters, regardless of subject matter, are believable, entertaining, and historically accurate.

** This troper had different opinion. The battle scenes are indeed well written, but this fanfic suffered with DarknessInducedAudienceApathy. Read this at your own risk, especially if you happened to loathe [[spoiler:EvilVersusEVil]] and [[spoiler:Yandere Homura]] theme, which won't be revealed until later parts. You have been warned.
