* ''Comments'': It's an epic, it's a love letter to music, and probably one of the most funny, tense and uplifting stories in the archive. The author has obviously excellent knowledge of music, both classical (Beethoven's ''Ode to Joy'' plays a significant part in the dénouement) and contemporary (with numbers as varied as ''Roll Out the Barrel'', ''Clementine'' and ''We're Going To Hang Our Washing On the Siegfried Line''); the characterisation is spot-on, and the original characters are well-rounded and often endearing. A must-read.
