* ''Comments'': I came across this fanfic by chance while I was browsing new arrivals, and it is quite simply one of the well-written fanfics of ANY fandom I've found online. The descriptions are vivid and transport you to this world, and the story, a Disney show by way of a police procedural, is intriguing. It's marketed as an Owl House/Amphibia crossover- while through the first chapter, the Gravity Falls connections (Pacifica Northwest, mentions of a Weirdmaggedon conspiracy theory) have been stronger than the Owl House ones (a mysterious girl with witch's ears and a fire glyph on a wall), the creator has stated the connections to Owl House will only continue to grow.

* Synopsis: Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill's dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill's ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Thirty years later, the demon is still punishing him for his refusal to rebuild the portal.
* Comments: This AU fic is long and dark but amazing. It’s very character driven and while it seemly follows canon, things soon take a very different turn.
