* AccidentalPervert: Denki buys into Mineta's lie that Aizawa asked for the girls to wear cheerleading uniforms (he wanted to ogle). The situation is salvaged though because Denki says that a girl only really looks sexy when she ''feels'' sexy and confident, which encourages the girls to wear personalized outfits (most of which more covering than the standard uniform) and have fun. Later he freaks out when he realizes that Aizawa never said such a thing.

* AdaptationalIntelligence: Whilst Izuku did quite well in school in canon, here he aces the entrance exam for an online school, then gets excellent scores in his online courses and finishes the finals far quicker than he expected. It's strongly implied Izuku had been sabotaging himself due to his poor self-esteem back at Aldera.
* AdaptationalJerkass: While Mineta has never been the most morally clean of 1A's students due to his perverted tendencies, [[spoiler:in the final chapter he ends up asking why Midoriya is allowed to be in the class, calling him a [[FantasticRacism "quirkless freak"]], which gets him a detention in response.]]

Here he has yet to turn to villainy, instead working as an underground informant in a shady bar, and while he still wants to kill his father he cares about his siblings enough to ask about their well-being.

* AscendedExtra: In the ''MHA'' canon, Amplifier was a pro-hero that only makes a one-scene appearance in ''Anime/MyHeroAcademiaTwoHeroes'' as an announcer to the "Villain Attack" attraction for the I-Expo's Early Access Event. Here, she is the first pro who encounters Izuku when he begins his vigilante career. It is through her that the various local heroes learn about him and come to see him as an early warning system for nearby-crimes. She also runs a villain rehabilitation centre, which Bakugou attends after his HeelRealization.

* CheapCostume: Izuku's Vigilante costume is nothing more than a dark-green hoodie, a black long-sleeved shirt, a pair of black ripped jeans, green-tinted goggles that are Quirk-enhanced to not color the wearer's vision, and his sneakers. He humored the idea of using his hero-merch to disguise himself, but he already knows that that is [[Manga/MyHeroAcademiaVigilantes the Crawler's]] thing and he doesn't want to make him look bad by accident. ** Izuku interprets One For All as relatively safe for anyone to inherit based on All Might's medical information, and further, uses this information as the basis for his argument that it would be much safer for someone like Denki to inherit the Quirk, since his body is already used to having one while Izuku's isn't. The audience knows, however, that Izuku is interpreting the data completely wrong because of one very important missing piece of context: All Might was born part of the genetically Quirkless minority, so his data actually only supports the idea that One For All is safe for people like ''Izuku,'' not Denki--the exact opposite of Izuku's conclusion.

* ImprovisedWeapon: When Izuku is fighting somebody who was about to rape a reporter, he uses the pencil in his back pocket and a random tin can of beans as makeshift weapons. He later upgrades to a box-cutter and some wooden dowels (and a soup can). In Chapter 7, Izuku buys an actual knife and a slingshot from a hardware store, but he still buys two 30cm long pipes to use as fighting batons. Izuku also gets marbles to use as his slingshot ammunition instead of steel-shot ammo because the marbles were cheaper and he was uncomfortable with the idea that shooting steel-shot was potentially as lethal as using a gun. The heroes think he may have picked pipes as his weapon because they are harder to track.

This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.
