* AbsurdlyLongStairway: The path that leads to the tombs of Hagoromo and Kaguya Otsutsuki contain one that could honestly rival that of the [[WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda Jade Palace]].

* MakeMeWannaShout: While in his dragon form, Drakmus can occasionally pull this off.

* HeroesWantRedheads: Minato towards Kushina, Daisuke ([[LoveTriangle and initially Konohamaru]] towards Akari, and Konan towards first Yahiko (though technically, his hair is orange) and later Nagato.

* DropTheHammer: Victor's weapon of choice is a war hammer. One of the gorillas Akari proves capable of summoning also likes to wield one. Naruto himself also uses his Asura Path powers to create a brand new war hammer for himself called Taitannoshuen that can lighten itself while being swung around and then immediately switch to its ''very heavy'' natural weight when striking, strictly for the sake of countering against Raizen's super tough armor. Konohamaru also gains a weapon from the monkeys that is a mix between this and an axe.

* BatOutOfHell: Alex is able to summon a giant bat for him to ride on made out of his own blood.

* AbusiveParents: Fugaku Uchiha is still very much the same hardass father to Sasuke and Itachi that he was in canon. Markus/Drakmus's secondary adoptive father Victor also qualifies.

* AnimalBattleAura: As in canon, all jinchuriki are capable of summoning such auras in the form of their respective tailed beasts when they have sufficient control over the power provided to them by said beasts.

* ArtInitiatesLife: As in canon, this is Sai's specialty, and technically Deidara's as well.

* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: The tailed beasts and the giant animals that serve as summons most definitely count, as in canon. And of course, the Gedo Mazo as well. And some of the chimeras Caius creates and summons are pretty darned gigantic as well, as are many of the automatons created and summoned by Derek. And that's without counting the giant animals amongst the Animal Path summons.

* AxCrazy: Zabuza has his moments of this whenever he really gets to go all out in combat. Hidan is also this, as in canon.

* BadWithTheBone: Kimimaro Kaguya, as in canon. Naruto's summoned [[RaptorAttack velociraptors]] also prove to be this thanks to some of Kimimaro's DNA getting implanted into them during their creation.

* BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind: As in canon the Waterfall of Truth allows for a variation of this. But this time, since the effects of Naruto's own experience with this are still in effect, this ends up instead of happening to Gaara and Fuu.

* TheBeastMaster: As in canon, the Inuzukas with dogs, the Aburames with insects, and the Animal Path and anyone else capable of animal summoning.

* TheBerserker: Jugo, as in canon. Caius can also occasionally act in this fashion when he's especially pissed off in battle.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Hinata, as in canon, proves capable of ''really'' kicking ass in combat despite how polite and kind she is outside of combat.

* {{BFS}}: Kibikiribocho and Samehada, as in canon. Also the [[DualWielding two]] truly massive claymores wielded by Raizen. And at least one of Derek's Kinzoku Kyojins similarly dual wields two appropriately massive scimitars.

* BigBadEnsemble: Madara and Obito are already around to cause trouble with the Jyuubi from the very beginning of the story, as per canon, and they still continue to cause trouble over the course of the new timeline. Raizen makes himself a brand new active threat for Naruto and Felix to worry about not too long after the timeline is reset. And he, Madara, and Obito are later joined in by the likes of Orochimaru, Akatsuki, Pain, and various other villains from both Naruto's home dimension and the Elder Dimension.

* BigCreepyCrawlies: Chomei the seven-tailed rhinoceros beetle and Saiken the six-tailed slug, as in canon. And of course there's still the giant centipede amongst the Animal Path summons.

* BigEater: Naruto and Kushina, as per canon, at least when it comes to eating [[TrademarkFavoriteFood ramen]]. Chouji and the rest of the Akimichi clan as well, as in canon. And then there's also Gamabunta's son Gamatatsu. And as revealed after the reception of Jiraiya and Tsunade's wedding, apparently so is Suigetsu.

* BlowYouAway: Anyone capable of wind release, as per canon. This is also one of two contributing elements to Thunder Style.

* BrilliantButLazy: Shikamaru, as in canon.

* CallBack: Several are made to events from the previous timeline.
* CallingYourAttacks: As in canon, this happens more often than not.
* CanisMajor: Shukaku, Kurama, and the Animal Path's summoned multi-headed dog, as in canon.

* CastingAShadow: The Nara clan, as in canon. Tobirama's Infinite Darkness jutsu also counts.
* CastFromHitPoints: As in canon, this is how chakra usage works.
* CasualDangerDialogue: Naruto proves a real master at this.
* CatchPhrase: As in canon, there's 'dattebayo' for Naruto, 'Shannaro' for Sakura, and 'troublesome' for Shikamaru.
* ChainPain: Just like in canon, the demon brothers who try to go after Tazuna early in the Land of Waves arc use chains as weapons. Kushina also wields her chakra chains in this fashion during several battles; an ability that Naruto himself later proves capable of using as well. And then there's the chains that Obito himself ends up using.
* ChickMagnet: Sasuke and Naruto both end up being this in the academy during the new timeline. Unsurprisingly, just like in canon, they both HATE this fact. Itachi and Felix were also apparently this when they were younger as well. Konohamaru himself ends up becoming this as well.

* CloudCuckooLander: In the Elder Dimension, there is Isaac. Having had the [[ThirdEye Tamashi Kensaku Me]] implanted in him and not been as lucky as Ceilia, he's not entirely all there to say the least. To emphasize how much of a number the implanting did to him, he once tried to plant chickens to grow eggs, and he also [[LiteralMinded honestly thought he'd been turned into nuts when Ceilia called him nuts]] (and is, as a result, now [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes deathly afraid of squirrels]]). He also, as explained by Felix's daughter Vanessa, doesn't understand expressions, believes the most obvious lies, always uses the most insulting nicknames unrepentantly to refer to people without giving a damn about consequences, and always randomly states every thought that comes to his mind. Obito also pretends to be this, as in canon, when acting under his Tobi persona.

* CombatHandFan: As in canon, this is Temari's weapon of choice.
* CombatPragmatist: With the way the Naruto world works, there are plenty of people who qualify as this.
* CombatSadomasochist: Hidan, as in canon.
* CombatTentacles: As in canon, Gyuki's tails double as this.

* TheCorrupter: Drek hopes, under orders from Raizen, to be this to Sasuke by using the [[TransferableMemory Pulse Imprint Jutsu]] to restore Sasuke's memories of how he turned out in the old timeline under the hopes that Sasuke will GoMadFromTheRevelation similarly to how he did in canon and [[FaceHeelTurn turn against Konoha like he did before as a result of his subsequent rage]]. [[DidntSeeThatComing Unfortunately,]] neither he, nor Raizen, had counted on Sasuke ending up [[FutureMeScaresMe instead being emboldened to deliberately avoid ever going down that dark path]]. And as in canon, Obito works behind the scenes to stoke Fugaku Uchiha's rage at [[DoesntTrustThoseGuys him and his clan being openly blamed for causing the Kyubi's attack on Konoha]] [[SinsOfTheFather based upon Madara's past actions]] and the fact that an Uchiha (who even claimed to be Madara no less) ''was'' clearly the one responsible in an effort at getting him to go forward with the planned coup so that any Uchiha who subsequently get killed in either the coup or a successful prevention that turns bloody will have their eyes available for him to take. And it is later revealed that the Sinju ended up acting as this to Kaguya Otsutsuki when she sealed its mind inside her own.

* CreepyCrows: As in canon, Itachi can summon crows and form clones of himself made out them. But this time, they're only truly creepy to his enemies, as a result of him not joining up with Akatsuki this time.

* DeadPersonConversation: Just like in canon, Kakashi has one with his father Sakumo (although this time, it's a result of Sakumo being summoned by Caius as an Edo Tensei over the course of the battle on Raizen's FloatingContinent). And immediately after Gaara has bested Shukaku in their BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind, Gaara receives one of these with his deceased mother Karura.

* DeathGlare: Happens a lot, usually with a side of killing intent.

* DespairEventHorizon: During the redo of his 1st birthday party, Naruto clearly remembers how, as in canon, the death of Neji very nearly broke him. Also finds himself on the verge of this whenever a death from the old timeline he'd hoped to prevent altogether [[InSpiteOfANail ends up happening anyway in the new timeline]].

* DoesntTrustThoseGuys: The Uchihas fall victim to this, just like in canon, due to both the actions of Madara in the distant past as well as how an Uchiha proves to be responsible for the Kyubi's attack on Konoha. Sasuke hopes to change this by proving himself different, if not outright enforcing such a change in the event he himself happens to become Hokage. Averted in the case of Nagato and the salamanders, as he is well aware that the salamanders themselves don't deserve to be considered directly responsible for Hanzo's crimes simply because of being his personal summons.

* DudeLooksLikeALady:
** Haku, as in canon. Guys mistaking him for a girl ends up becoming a RunningGag. Deidara also qualifies, to the point that Alex Chihanshu is briefly afraid of him before realizing he's a guy (much to Deidara's annoyance).
** Inverted in the case of Sakura getting mistaken for a boy by [[CloudCuckooLander Isaac]].
* DudeMagnet: See DudeLooksLikeALady above.

* EldritchAbomination: As in canon, the tailed beasts.

* ElementalRockPaperScissors: As in canon, the five elemental chakras have their respective strengths and weaknesses against each other.

* EnergyWeapon: Rick Kesshou is capable of creating weapons out of plasma energy for him to wield in battle. The Bijuu Bombs can occasionally be converted into these, as in canon. And then there's also Storm Style and Plasma Style.

* FeatheredFiend: The Animal Path's giant bird summon, as in canon. Also a Roc that is amongst Naruto's summons.

* FlechetteStorm: Kin and Haku, as in canon.

* FrogNinja: Gamabunta and his fellow toad summons, as per canon.

* FusionDance: Kisame can pull this with [[CoolSword Samehada]] to turn into a ThreateningShark. Also, Kiba can still do this with Akamaru, as in canon, to turn into a [[MultipleHeadCase two headed]] (or three headed in the event he has a shadow clone of himself merge with them as well) [[SavageWolves wolf]].

* GeniusBruiser: Quite a large number of combat capable warriors (i.e. Naruto himself, Sasuke, Genyumaru, etc.) showcase moments of this every so often.

* GoodThingYouCanHeal: Suigetsu and the Edo Tensei, as in canon. And of course Sakura and Tsunade both have mitotic cell regeneration.

* GreenThumb: Hashirama and any other users of wood release (i.e. Yamato), as in canon. Akari as well, [[DidntSeeThatComing much to her and Sasuke's mutual surprise]].

* HammerSpace: As in canon, this is a commonly used storage location for stuff that gets sealed away for later usage.
* HandGagging: Daisuke is forced to resort to doing this to Akari in an effort to prevent her from instantly making an enemy out of all the other Chunin hopeful teams that made it to the 2nd stage with them with her BoisterousBruiser BloodKnight tendencies. And Kimimaro also briefly does this to Fu to prevent her from initiating a casual discussion of the jinchuriki in a public location.

** And of course, like in canon, Nagato/Pain and Konan (albeit, somewhat earlier in the new timeline compared to before).

* HeelRealization: As in canon, Rasa ultimately has this in regards to how he'd [[AbusiveParents originally treated his son Gaara]].

* HeroicRROD: Matsuri's Banshee Shriek jutsu, while powerful and quite devastating against enemies, can also cause serious damage to the interior of her throat and vocal chords if used often enough. And of course, there are plenty of particularly high-power techniques that, like in canon, can result in bleeding from the eyes, nose, or elsewhere. And there's still the risk of complete blindness resulting from the Sharengan. And of course, chakra exhaustion is very much a real and present danger.

* HeroicWillpower: Naruto has this, as in canon. [[spoiler: It proves especially useful when he's creating animals for him to use as summons for his [[TheBeastMaster Animal Path powers]].]]
* HeterosexualLifePartners: Naruto and Sasuke. Zabuza and Yagura were this as well, as in canon, prior to Yagura's being placed under mind control and killed. And of course, Jugo and Kimimaro as well.

* HopeBringer: As in canon, Naruto himself.

* AnIcePerson: Haku, as in canon.

* ImmortalsFearDeath: As in canon, Orochimaru.

** [[spoiler: Just like in canon, Jiraiya [[InSpiteOfANail once again]] dies this way.]]

* ImportantHairCut: As in canon, Sakura once again subjects herself to this in the new timeline. But this time, she's inspired into doing so by Kurenai's making it clear that she needs to start taking her training seriously and stop putting more focus on impressing Sasuke than on said training rather than getting her hair grabbed and held onto by Kin.

* LivingStatue: As in canon, the Gedo Mazo (via serving as the hollow body of the Jyuubi). And then there are the golems created and summoned by Derek.

* MagicalEye: There are the Sharengan, Byakugan, and Rinnegan from canon, and also the [[CombatClairvoyance Miraiyochigan]] and [[ThirdEye Tamashia Kensaku Me]].
* MagmaMan: Kurotsuchi and Mei Turumi, as in canon.
* MagnetismManipulation: Anyone capable of Magnetic Style is capable of this.

* MakeSomeNoise: Inhabitants of Oto, as in canon.

* MalevolentMaskedMen: As in canon Tobi/Obito and Kakuzu. Raizen also invokes this trope with the helmet he has amongst his armor.
* MamaBear: Whenever she's not subjecting Naruto to one of her fits of rage, Kushina is very much this towards him. She also later extends this towards Hinata once she is set to become her daughter-in-law. Mebuki Haruno is also this towards Sakura, to the point that she makes a simultaneously blunt and subtle FreudianThreat to Sasuke to ensure that he treats Sakura right in their relationship. And of course, just like in canon, Karura proved herself this even in death by allowing for the power of the sand that Gaara defends himself with.
* ManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler: Caius Shikokkyo, despite technically serving as Raizen's new [[TheDragon Dragon]] after Drakmus's being freed from his BrainwashedAndCrazy state, technically serves as this as well due to having resurrected Raizen after his first death. [[WorldTree The Sinju]] [[ItCanThink as well]], for telepathically speaking to Caius and ensuring that he keeps goading Raizen into continuing his plans so it can vicariously achieve vengeance against Kaguya for eating its fruit so many countless years prior.]] And of course, Obito serves as this to Fugaku Uchiha as he did in canon.
* ManBitesMan: As in canon, Karin's healing powers are triggered by her being bitten by the people she wishes to heal.
* ManChild: Just like in canon, Obito once again [[ObfuscatingStupidity pretends to be this]] for his 'Tobi' persona in the new timeline.

* MarionetteMaster: Kankuro, Sasori, and Chiyo, as in canon.

* MegaNeko: Matatabi, as in canon. Also a giant tiger amongst Naruto's Animal Path summons.
* MegaTonPunch: As in canon, Kushina, Sakura, and Tsunade possess this. Caius also possesses such a punch thanks to his regeneration powers constantly reviving his dead muscle cells even as they die from being replicated. And thanks to training from Sakura, Moegi develops one of these. And Felix, Jiraiya, and Itachi discover the hard way that Raizen also possesses one of these.

* MightyRoar: The Biju are capable of this, as in canon.

* MoralityPet: As in canon, Haku serves as this to Zabuza. He also serves as this to his girlfriend Kin.

* PrecisionFStrike: Happens during several OhCrap moments.

* ReligionOfEvil: Hidan's worship of Jashin, as in canon. Also, Zurui turns out to be a major figure in a cult that worships the Sinju and considers Raizen one of that religion's biggest prophets.

* RescueRomance: Can be inferred to have been the case for [[spoiler: Kakashi and Ceilia]] due to the former [[BigDamnHeroes joining the latter in her fight against Jess just in time]] prior to their eventual hookup. And of course, as in canon (albeit, [[AdaptationDistillation through the noncanon anime flashback event that was the only hinted such moment available at the time this story was first written]]), Hinata's feelings for Naruto are sparked by him saving her from a trio of bullies when they were very little kids. And furthermore, [[SparedByTheAdaptation Kin]] not only undergoes a HighHeelFaceTurn after Haku saves her from getting [[YouHaveFailedMe killed by Orochimaru's forces during the invasion as punishment for failing Orochimaru a second time]], but also develops a crush on him and later becomes his girlfriend as a result of this same rescue. And of course, the fact that he played a key role in saving her from the Akatsuki may very well have played a key role in the later romance between Kimimaro and Fuu.

* RhymesOnADime: As in canon, Killer B.

* SandBlaster: Gaara, as in canon.

* ThemeNaming: All named inhabitants of the Elder Dimension [[spoiler: apart from the Otsutsukis, Rikudo Zion, Raizen, Sarka, and Drek]] are given obviously western influenced names such as Felix, Markus, and [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers Caius]]. The Kokoro Nusumu parasites that are given names are also named after types of rock, with the ones from the highest ranking class of their species being named after gemstones.

* AnythingThatMoves: Played with in regards to Kiba. He doesn't have sex with everything that moves, but he is more than willing to hit on every attractive girl (or [[DudeLooksLikeALady attractive person that LOOKS like a girl]]) he sees. This comes back to bite him in hilarious fashion when he ends up briefly trying to hit on Haku.

* EveryOneHasStandards: Jiraiya may be a complete perv, and be more than willing and eager to act out on his perverted tendencies towards just about [[AnythingThatMoves any attractive single lady he sees]], but he most definitely draws the line at [[BestialityIsDepraved trying to have sex with animals]].

* ButNotTooBlack: Raizen is very noticeably darker skinned compared to the more 'fair skinned' characters, but Naruto notes that he's definitely not as dark skinned as the dark skinned people of Kumo either.

* BigCreepyCrawlies: Chomei the 7-tailed rhinoceros beetle and Saiken the 6-tailed slug, as in canon. And of course there's still the giant centipede amongst the Animal Path summons.

* EverythingsBetterWithDinosaurs: Naruto has a triceratops and a velociraptor amongst his Animal Path summons. And Rikudo Zion had a ''Tyrannosaurus rex'' amongst his own personal summons.

* KillEmAll: Happens to just about all the good guys apart from Naruto at the very beginning of the story thanks to Madara and the Jyuubi. Naturally gets undone after Felix and Naruto travel back in time. [[spoiler: Raizen also ultimately plans to invoke this as well, by virtue of unleashing TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt.]]

* ActionDad: Felix himself, plus all the examples from canon.
* ActionGirl: Too many to count.

* AwesomeEgo: As Naruto proudly states, he would almost certainly have this if he were an arrogant ass.
