** Boomer’s name is not pronounced as in English, because it’s derived from the Dutch word “boom,” which means “tree.” It’s actually pronounced “BOW-mer” (as in bow and arrow), to wit.

It is ''also'' worth noting that the series has a ton of Dutch in it, which is of course due to the fact that Nimja himself ''is'' Dutch.

With the ''public,'' it's played straighter, as the general public consensus of Hades is that he is a "bad" god, which Hades and Nimja set out to disprove. * NotSoStoic: Nimja is a hypnotist, and as such is usually ''extremely'' calm and collected in even the most extreme situations. However, there’s no denying that he also has his moments of pure and unbridled [[{{Adorkable}} adorkableness]], being a ''giant nerd.'' Case in point: ''the very first chapter.'' Upon his transformation into a Mew, Nimja is so happy he does backflips around the room.

[[MartialPacifist With hypnosis, of course.]] “Who Wants To Live Forever?” shows ''exactly'' what happens when you mess with Nimja, and he is so upset (but doesn’t show it, of course) with what [=HyPN0se=] did that he ''[[OOCIsSeriousBusiness explicitly threatens HyPN0se with death.]]'' He never goes through with it, of course, because as soon as he says [=HyPN0se=]’s trigger word, the Dutch Mewtwo goes into a rage and tells him, [=OGiNiM=] and [=HyDrO=] to ''[[GetOut ga zeg.]]'' Still, the fact that Nimja is willing to go that far is stunning to the audience.
