This is really saying something given the wide range of people watching the show. Even Eun-ji and Cheol-soo are against him.

** Nam-ra tells I-sak and Gyeong-su that her mother doesn’t allow her to have pets in a somewhat funny scene. In the next chapter, Woo-jin covers up his weak message to his and Ha-ri’s mother by joking about how there’s no use asking for a pet even after the apocalypse. After returning home, Nam-ra is gifted a pet rabbit for her birthday and offers to let Woo-jin be the ‘father’ to his joy.

* CharacterFocus: Each episode gets a single character dedicated to it, with the chapter exploring that character's unique perspective of the episode's contents'
** Episode One is told from Su-hyeok's POV. The focus on the bullies' impact is explored through the lens of his guilt having previously been associated with him. He also offers insight on his reaction to On-jo asking him out and his crush on Nam-ra.
** Episode Two has I-sak's POV, as she reacts to the initial carnage that befalls the school, as well shipping her friends now that they're in a show, all the while hoping for the best, not wanting to think of herself or On-jo dying. Of course, then I-sak is forced to contend with her own death.
** Episode Three follows Gyeong-su and his bitterness over Na-yeon trying to insist that he's infected after getting scratched by a zombie while saving the others. And then of course, he dies.
** Episode Four is from Cheong-san's POV. He copes with his best friend's death, most heartbreakingly, his mother's death, the plot to get a phone, and witnessing Gwi-nam kill the principal before the psychopath's attention is turned on him.
** Episode Five has Ji-min cope with the overwhelming grief of her parents' deaths.
** Episode Six is a lighter chapter, being from Dae-su's POV. He's very anxious seeing the kids grow increasingly hungry, provides funny commentary on Nam-ra and Su-hyeok's growing feelings for each other, and cries at the end.
** Episode Seven is the only episode not from a member of Class 2-5. Eun-ji marvels at her new hambie abilities and growing baddassery as she sees herself kill a teacher who was cruel to her. She also provides a dark look at Gwi-nam killing Myung-hwan and Cheol-soo abandoning the class.
** Episode Eight follows Na-yeon as she tries to reform herself after witnessing herself murder a classmate, watching what happened to her and Ms. Park after they left, and contending with her own death as she finally reckons with her guilt.
** Episode Nine is from Woo-jin's POV. He doesn't do much in the episode but reckons with his entire class being left behind by the military and has to cope with his loss of innocence and the hatred he's developing for the people who hurt them.
** Episode Ten is from Joon-yeong's POV as he watches his love interest reunite with his sister, himself fight over escape plans with Mi-jin, and eventually, his HeroicSacrifice to save his friends.

* After the first death of someone present in the room, Commander Jin makes the decision to speak with everyone who suffers a bad fate. Serious, apart from the last line of his POV, where he states, 'It won't get old'. After Woo-jin's death, the last of the season, he stands and the teenager yells, 'We get it! It's gotten old'. He then shrugs and sits back down. There's never a scene to show if he does eventually give a speech to Woo-jin, implying that was where it ended.

** Everyone hates the principal. No like, everyone. Literally everyone. In the episode one reaction, Su-hyeok notes how everyone thinks he's absolutely useless whether they benefit from it or not. Apparently, even the bullies think he's a joke.
** The entire room turns against Commander Jin after his show self orders for Class 2-5 to be left behind and then shot. Even Eun-ji and Cheol-soo, who want the other kids dead, make fun of him. Both On-jo and Woo-jin state that they want him ''dead'' after their respective love interests die, which would have been prevented had they been saved. It gets worse after he decides to bomb Hyosan.

** Eun-ji and Cheol-soo are both rooting for the downfall of the other characters. But even they are all for throwing shoes at Commander Jin. Eun-ji also clarifies at first that she's not 'actually' going to hurt anyone, just likes seeing her onscreen self do so. She also apologizes for killing Cheol-soo in the show as they've made up in real life. After they return home, she decides against becoming a hambie for real and the two of them become bullies, but only towards people who deserve it. Eventually, they both start to mellow out and she even offers to help out Hyo-ryung with a problem she has with a teacher.
** Na-yeon clearly tries to change her ways in her episode, cutting herself off when she thinks something particularly bitchy and trying to reason out why what she was doing was wrong.
** Yeong-ju judges the main group of kids without insight about what was really going on with them, labelling them as 'toxic' based off of gossip and the story she and her friends concocted in her mind. That being said, she also dislikes the things she comes up with, implying she'd be above such behavior, she also hates their {{Jerkass}} former principal, and in a throwaway line, mentions she's figured out somehow that Woo-jin is gay but doesn't out him to her friend and doesn't seem to judge him for it.
** Commander Jin, even after everyone turns against him, and though he stands by his decisions in the show, still makes sure to assure every character present who faces death that he'll work as hard as he can to prevent it. He takes their hatred with a stone expression.

Despite spending most of the episodes sitting next to Joon-yeong and occasionally being described as cuddling with him, he starts sitting as far away from the other kids as possible. And, despite being set up as one of the kindest members of the class, angrily says he hopes Commander Jin dies.

Even though he says this knowing that it's probably fruitless, he couldn't have known that the episode in question would end with Cheong-san coming face-to-face with his zombified mother.
