* By far the most popular pairing on ''WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime'' (if one is a yaoi fan, anyway) is Knock Out/Breakdown, despite Breakdown having shown interest in Airachnid.

** Within hours of their debu episode, Avatar Wan and Raava started getting shipped by a surprising number of fans. Helped along when one fan drew a humanized version of Raava that the newly christened ship's shippers immediately latched onto.

* Despite it being nonexistent in the series, some ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' fans like to pair Fluttershy with Applejack's older brother, Big Macintosh. Naturally, when a plot for the show's Valentine's Day episode involves [[spoiler: the Cutie Mark Crusaders trying to hook up Big Macintosh with Cheerilee,]] [[PortmanteauCoupleName Fluttermac]] supporters weren't too thrilled with the development.
** While the vast majority of the cast is shipped with pretty much everyone else, [[FanNickname Lyra and Bon Bon]] tend to be paired almost exclusively which each other, to the point that art or stories that pair them with other characters are considered oddities. Case in point, do a search for "Lyra, shipping" on [[http://derpibooru.org/ Derpibooru]], and you'll get almost nothing but Lyra/Bon Bon pictures, whereas if you try a similar search with any other characters you'll probably get five or six different pairings before you get past the first page.
